Western Manufactured Ukraine "Crisis" Trips Over. No WWIII. Boring Days In Woke Paradise.
The Short Take . . .
It had to come.
After all, Russia is not Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Syria, Libya and all those other poor M.E. countries that didn't know what hit them.
As four star US general Wes Clark helpfully informed us all back in the 1990's - Take out 7 countries in 5 years - meaning M.E. countries. It took longer than 5 years and they had no hope.
Except Syria, where the Russian armed forces were invited in for selective support and in they went. Assad stays where he is, despite wishful thinking from well paid media broadcast presstitutes. <<<Note: A now valid word not flagged by Google spell check. Fancy that!
The latest Ukraine maneuver, courtesy of another Washington rhetorical epistle, was intended to get Russia into another "Vietnam", as Dr. Ziggy so colourfully put it when the Soviets rolled into Afghanistan and who remembers that. Back to the present and . . .
The Russians have been about to invade the failed state of The Ukraine any hour now, for the last 2-3 months! So disappointing.
At time of writing, the British government flags sending a contingent of soldiers to Eastern Europe to deter an imagined, read desired, Russian invasion of The Ukraine. Sorry - no invasion. The Russian FM made that very clear.
And in an entirely different universe, being this same schizoid one . . .
The University of London earnestly informs that young Brits are such gentle snowflakes and so one must wonder if Russian soldiers will, at the prospect of facing off against these Anglo woke soldier fairies, fail to realize that they are actually facing a British secret weapon, that is - Russian soldiers laughing so hard at them that they, the Russian soldiers, disable themselves with massive hernias, so rendering an automatic victory to that clearly failing British state with a still moderately effective media public relations machine. Wink, wink. No kidding!
How so?
The University of London has issued a warning that Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist, a classic work of English literature that has been read and studied by students for decades, contains violence and racial prejudice that will cause distress and anxiety among graduate students. A university spokesperson declared that this warning was part of “our responsibility to support the mental health and well-being of our students.” Resorting to professional nomenclature as one is inclined to in these times, these people are, in my not inconsiderable opinion, fucking idiots.
Other books that now have attached distress warnings by British universities include the Dickens classic, Great Expectations, Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre, George Orwell’s 1984, and J K Rowling’s Harry Potter. J K is still alive and has gotten used to criticism for stating biologically evident facts - criticisms from important fools.
A generation that has to be protected from classic works of British literature would certainly collapse from the organized military violence visited upon them far from home from a hard Russian army, now cited by military professionals as the most powerful in the world. Add in a motivated Chinese army, well educated in hundreds of years of foreign Western intervention and exploitation.
"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro" - Hunter S. Thompson. Circa 1980.
Elsewhere in The West, the situation is worse. Here, military age youngsters collapse in crippling agony when they hear gender pronouns used.
Words such as he, she, him and her cause deep anxiety and terror among the woke-ified. What was the normal use of the English language is a cause of deep distress. How the collective West with populations this weak can behave like military superpowers has become the enduring mystery and one thoroughly avoided by important media mainstream personalities.
The giveaway diplomatic joke line of this last week was when Washington State Department Vicky Nuland, Undersecretary for Sabrerattling, publicly appealed to Public Enemy #1, that's China, the most key Russian ally, to pull Russia into line!! I give up. And I thought only The Ukraine was run by a former stand up comic.
Ukraine President Vol Zelensky does realize that they're the <expletive deleted> in ye old sandwich and has called on "The West" to cool it. This is very bad form for a Western supported national leader and will set him up for "removal". Not a difficult conclusion for him though. The Brits made it clear that they will not back him up in a fight with the Russian Army. Same message out of Washington. Ditto European states. However, they continue to supply (as reported) weapon systems to The Ukrainian armed forces. Frankly, no-one really cares about the pawn that is the Ukrainian failed state and Russia is not about to put it on its balance sheet.
Zelensky got this message.
But The West, in standard geopolitical playbook form, will sacrifice this country to further its geo-political aims, its grand dream of gaining control of that country that has 75% of the world’s remaining physical resources, occupied as it is by a small population and a vast wilderness. Utilizing quite tangible European and Western anti-Russian racist sentiment, where ever it exists, a vital plank of this foreign policy maneuver.
The Russian leadership, no fools, got this message and a long time ago.
More generally, racism has always underpinned foreign policy and armed forces training.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to supply titanium, oil and rocket engines to the US while Washington threatens sanctions that will make things much worse for Europeans. Washington remains sanction proof, of course, as Russia continues to generously ship raw materials to the United States.
“Eurasia is The Heartland” - Sir Halford Mackinder, 1904.
Now this is an interesting strategy. Why not apply counter-sanctions? After all, the depleted West is facing down a Halford McKinder moment of a unified resource-rich Eurasian economic powerhouse that excludes The West from anything other than as a customer. Their own choice. This is the reified 120 year old existential fear.
Some years pre-CoVid, the new societal inflection point for historical referencing, Henry Kissinger lamented the direction of Western foreign policy that has now led to a unified Russian - Chinese bloc. It did look like Russia was looking West but anti-Russian racist sentiment and misguided, militarized foreign policy took care of that.
1972 was when Kissinger and US President Nixon went to BeiJing and rectified the prospect of facing down a unified China-Soviet bloc. China became the sub-contractor for Western manufactured products and The West, or the power elite of the US, were to remain the drivers of the future and the controllers of the flow of wealth. The systems managers of technology, intellectual property, the international legal framework, financial flows - ways and means. Leave the “can do” work for Asians, so long as they didn’t think too hard about things.
A fabulous piece of overt geopolitical dominance. The Chinese had other ideas. So did I and it was obvious to an intellectual pygmy even like myself that you build military power on the back of country economic power. I was in China during the Anglo-US-NATO Gulf War 1 on Iraq. A very one-sided “turkey shoot”. The official Chinese press outlets reported that the Chinese leadership really did pay attention to the smart weapons in use over Iraq and on display, even as they didn’t always meet the claimed precision accuracy. They realized that all wars will be tech. wars, courtesy of The Digital Revolution. This has led to a revolution in military affairs where those who control the electromagnetic space may well prevail in all other realms. See my closing remarks on this.
On the ongoing background chitchat in US academic and military circles of survivable, limited nuclear wars - this one has been going for at least several years now - may remain just that. Background chitchat. No such thing, BTW, of a limited nuclear war as more than enough simulations demonstrate that they all escalate. In opposition to this . . .
Vlad has made it abundantly clear that if anyone tries anything serious on the Russian state, the Western centers of decision making, as well as the weapons launch platforms, will - how shall we say - just vanish. The West has no defense against Russian weapons, as reported. Vlad also stated, some years pre-CoVid, that if war is inevitable, strike first.
Sobering? Pre-emptive Strike Theory was annunciated by President G. W. Bush and parroted here in Australia by the then prime minister John Howard. I was also in Asia at that time and that announcement went down in their media very badly. This region is now very heavily weaponized and it does not stop.
In relation to The Ukraine crisis, what happens now?
Backroom deals so all the players emerge with some face towards their own populations and no-one gets hurt. Few outside “the room” know what really goes down. Business as usual.
Any military action, if any, will be covert and overt conflict avoided. Business as usual.
Mainstream media favorites, whose lives are played out within the confines of the four walls of their broadcasting complexes and thus know nothing, will speak to prepared narratives courtesy of their governments, their intelligence agencies and their agit prop think tanks. Business as usual.
What happens next?
Who knows but courtesy of the publication of the British Ministry of Defense - Integrated Operating Concept (undated) page 5 paragraph 3. Read carefully now. Word emphasis is theirs:
“The triumph of narrative increasingly determines defeat or victory and hence the importance of information operations. They can be used to support conventional military operations and those utilizing proxies and deniable para-military forces, military coercion, offensive cyber operations, and of course lawfare.
Established techniques such as assassination, deception, economic coercion, espionage, theft of intellectual property and subversion gain potency through the clever use of cyber, digitized information, and social media.
Psychological insights into how these channels can be manipulated enhance their effectiveness.
The combined effect is designed to force an adversary to become politically cowed, thus achieving objectives without the need to escalate above the threshold of war”.
Further remarks are directed to the “cyber and the electromagnetic Domain”.
Applies to everyone. I recall the remarks of a former KGB officer who defected speaking to similar things.
Now you know. You can’t say you don’t. The New Cold War.

Correction - Re <b>"At time of writing, . . . of The Ukraine . . . no invasion. The Russian FM made that very clear". </b>
Evidence emerged of a planned attack on the eastern Ukrainian Russian speaking provinces. Thus asserted that the intervention of Russian forces was to prevent this by removing the capacity of Ukrainian forces to wage war. George W. Bush Iraq redux.
Other immediate Russian armed forces objectives appear to be:
1. Remove foreign interests in the Ukrainian oil & gas industry.
2. Shut down hazardous bio-lab operations.
3. Change the legal status of the two eastern provinces.
The consequences of Ukrainian maneuvers by all involved will be played out for some years.
You should write more.
