That Wider War Draws Near. The Benefits of War.

The Russian Armed Forces will soon commence The War to End the US-NATO-UK Ukrainian Proxy War, tabbed by them as anything but a legitimate maneuver. Russia will defeat the combined US, NATO and UK efforts in The Ukraine. The First World War was tabbed as The War to End All Wars by those who had an interest in winning it, London and Washington, a war Britain had lost by 1916. A neat piece of literary cant as one does not fight a war to end all wars. One ends all wars by not fighting a war or, in this case, by not launching a war on a nominated foreign adversary, here Russia and invincible, over the territory and lives of a favoured ally, read sacrificed state, The Ukraine. Being an allied state of Washington - London interests comes attached with terminal risks. Far better to be a well armed adversary, by their reckoning and they keep their distance. The loss of The Ukraine Proxy War Campaign hastens The Decline of The West, a slow motion ship wreck and the real reason European NATO Compradors have spoken to how they cannot afford to lose their lost campaign.

"Observe good faith and justice toward all nations . . . nothing is more essential than that permanent, inveterate antipathies against particular nations and passionate attachments for others should be excluded and that in place of them just and amicable feelings . . . The nation which indulges toward another an habitual hatred or an habitual fondness is . . . a slave . . . to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interest" - Farewell Address letter by General George Washington, 1st President of The Republic, 1796 on the dangers of misguided reasoning and foreign entanglements.

More powerful states may be manipulated to go to war against a third state, ostensibly or actually on behalf of a second and weaker state, presumed ally of the first and enemy of the third. Or a weaker, dependent state of the first may be used as a proxy against a third, more powerful state to the first. The Ukraine, presumed ally of The United States and Russia, perceived threat to The United States, are hardly standout examples. The Ukraine is used by elements within Washington, London and Brussels, arguably acting treasonously, who claim a false interest in its welfare. Moreover, as Secretary of State Colin Powell's Chief of Staff Lawrence Wilkerson expressed it regarding another state leader - "Netanyahu wants a war with Iran fought to the last American soldier". This does not reflexively impute such desires to the state nor the people, nor exclude them but more likely represents the narrow, self-serving interests of The Leadership and The National Security Apparatus. Of The Ukraine, there is also the personal profits motive of key political operatives in The West and their political party leaderships, the Kyiv Leadership and the executives of armaments manufacturers, by no means an exhaustive résumé. Also a factor is their desire for ideological dominance and it has been argued that ideology has trumped US, EU and UK national interests, discussed further on. Of benefits flowing to that innocuously named class, The Non-State Actor, this haphazard conflict [for The West] positions arms smugglers, men of the grossest of ambitions and none too different to the more educated class found in the richly paneled corporate boardrooms of armaments manufacturers, front and centre in this Proxy War to weaken Russia, with some 40% or more of the lighter armaments so supplied to Kyiv by The West sold off, as reported.

Armaments smuggling and profiteering attends all wars and from this springs forth the definition of The Good War - Something for Everyone.

Successfully exploiting a foreign state requires that internal corruption is widespread. This characterized The Ukraine, a basis of belief towards Russia and increased agitation with China after President XiJinPing announced a state wide corruption crackdown.

By that was meant that the US Armed Forces have never fought a peer competitor or one where they were evenly matched. The Finest Fighting Force the World has ever seen remains distant from this conflict. The actual Finest Fighting Force the World has ever seen remains directly engaged, directly tested and thoroughly resilient. The term "stress tested", here to be applied to The Russian Armed Forces, is avoided with studied efficiency. Of outcomes of the oft stated US-NATO-UK strategy to weaken the Russian Armed Forces and defeat Russia, The Russian Armed Forces gear up as the most capable, tested and fearsome military on the planet with increased strategic depth that the combined US-NATO-UK militaries cannot match.

That the important Western Mainstream Media now report war crimes of the Armed Forces of The Ukraine [AFU], matters informed on by The Eastern Media and early on, indicates the inevitable recognition by US-NATO-UK Planners that their Proxy War is lost, an outcome of their massive miscalculations and so the sentimental affections of the good people of The West for the poor, long suffering people of The Ukraine, excluding always the Russian Speaking Provinces of The East, are to be managed down and way down at that, directed towards Other Affairs of State or nothing much at all for a time, while ensuring that our impressions of the poor, long suffering Russian people as they would have us believe are not elevated and so remain on the lower rungs of geo-political sentiment with The Ukraine dragged down there too. So are we left with several irredeemable Slavic groups who deserve no better than each other and should never have merited our high minded intentions in the first place.

To be forgotten, as we are to forget The US-NATO-UK plus Allied States' Afghan Campaign, the many Afghan dead left there, the many disabled, the many more facing economic destitution and with Western optics managed via a de facto news blackout as will the imaging of The Ukraine be so handled while advertorials, presented as news, helpfully inform on The Indispensable Must Watch Content, those major television events of entertainment streaming channels, examined below.

Washington's Russia -Ukraine Strategy was part of a greater strategy of weakening China by removing Russia as a supplier of raw materials and energy and a security guarantor of China's western and northern borders while The United States continues its military encirclement of China elsewhere. The failure of The Russia - Ukraine Component is a failure of the entire China Strategy and so just what US-NATO-UK War Planners do next remains to be explicated, if indeed they have any substantive ideas themselves, beyond the very apparent fake Mainstream Media Messaging of Western Moral Superiority and Virtues, always with the intention of protecting, justifying and exonerating Western Leadership Figures. Regardless of outcomes, "we meant well". They always do, by their reckoning. Factually, so did Nazi Germany's intellectual luminaries. They knew what they wanted, they knew how to go about it and they made no secret of it. Righteous Western Imperialists have left in their wake more dead than Nazi Germany ever accumulated, not an exoneration but a comparison.

American Entertainment Host Stephen Colbert inserting helpful political guidance - right think to discountenance the guest away from thought crime? - during a 2020 interview with the tiresomely irritating Tulsi Gabbard, sometime critic of Washington Foreign Policy and former Democrat. Persistent references were made to the use of Syrian Government chemical weapons without citing evidence, while ignoring the general military use of explosive chemical weapons in the form of manufactured munitions, a rhetorical card trick frequently dealt by The Forces of Universal Goodness, for all armies exist on their use of explosive chemical weapons. Just what Stephen Colbert, American ordained minister, meant by the excusatory phrase "however flawed" remains as always unexplicated. Comparisons with another American ordained minister, Chris Hedges, could be illustrative. Both are media personalities and Chris Hedges was a New York Times former war correspondent until he was not, both appeared in war zones - Chris Hedges frequently in dangerous circumstances where he could have been killed and colleagues were, Stephen Colbert in Iraq to entertain "the troops", both speak to American values and power projection, Chris Hedges has written in support of Julian Assange, does not appear to earn all that much money and Chris Hedges does not appear covetous. As for that "force for good in The World" self-serving claim [right think], global surveys consistently report that the majority of The World thinks otherwise. On the use of the phrase "The World", this is to be read as The West. The Rest do not count.

It would be more than an inconvenience if Minister Colbert and entertainment luminaries like him were invited to count the dead. They do not come to count the dead, as affirmed by Pentagon Generals. There is nothing preventing The Good Minister from volunteering for military service in The Ukraine, as many citizens have been encouraged to and have.

The Russian Armed Forces run a measured campaign and show no appearance in over-extending themselves, nor falling for Western provocations. President Zelenskyy desperately seeks measures to draw The World's Finest Fighting Force into direct conflict with Russia, with predictable non-success. Western Mainstream Media recently ran parallel reports of Russian munitions striking a very short distance across The Ukraine northern border into Poland, as asserted by President Zelenskyy. US President Joe Biden simultaneously contradicted such reports, attributing said munitions to AFU origins, at least by implication. This ostensibly puzzling presentation of contradictory reports by leaders is a campaign in itself to manage down impressions of President Zelenskyy as a credible leader. The Russian Armed Forces could have removed President Zelenskyy any time in the last several months. That task they leave to Washington and their much accumulated experience with erstwhile allies. NATO instructing the AFU to create below ground fortifications near and within Eastern Ukrainian cities suggested a deliberate strategy of expending them to an anticipated Russian Armed Forces Shock and Awe Campaign - carpet bombing US Air Force style and kill everyone, soldiers and civilians, such as that annunciated by then US President G W Bush and implemented within the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns. An expectation of a Verdun slaughterhouse, courtesy of Russian Armed Forces artillery and air power, the inevitable result of which would have been the most ferociously anti-Russian Ukrainian Provinces on Russia's western border. US-NATO-UK "Forces of Liberation" would have been welcomed or otherwise intervened under Washington's selectively applied principle of "Responsibility to Protect" and by such reckoning would NATO and Friends have a significant armed force presence on Russia's western border and one welcomed and supported by the local population, those who survived the un-eventuated Shock and Awe Campaign of vast death and destruction that many in Afghanistan recently experienced. Add in the many other countries outside of The West who would express their distaste for such military campaign tactics, such distaste not heard much of within The West of US-NATO-UK Campaigns on Afghanistan and Iraq and further back in time with Vietnam and Laos, among others.

Some US military professionals pointed to the Russian SMO as being conducted contrary to what they expected and different from anything they have seen. Publicly available US Military Doctrine extending back decades points to future battlegrounds being within cities. Around the Eastern Provinces, much fighting has been door to door, so-called and undertaken by Chechen, Eastern Province service personnel, Russian Wagner Special Forces and some Russian Armed Forces, with overall command and control under the Russian General Staff who, incidentally, say next to nothing concerning their war plans. Their approach accounts for the higher losses taken on the Russian side and one that has delivered an Eastern Provinces population who voted to reunify with Russia, against a Western backdrop of fake election result fake claims and fake claims of fake claims.

One may reflect on the mathematical anomalies and departures from the generally asymptotic trends behaviour of cumulative votes counting that attended the recent US September, 2022 mid-term elections in The World's Greatest Democracy.

Historically, US Forces rarely fought in major theatres against peer competitors and so has this given them a false sense of their capabilities as most of their campaigns have been small theatre operations, largely against third world countries, hardly peer competitors. This applies to the British Armed Forces who always prevailed over third world country native populations but met with mixed results against a peer competitor like the German Armed Forces. A reason to resort to terrorist actions.

At this point in the Ukraine Campaign, failures accumulate and Western Mainstream Optics Management cannot easily hide the reality of devastating AFU losses and destruction of Western Ukrainian critical infrastructure by Russian hypersonic and other missiles and artillery, which they ran out of months ago. The Russian President remains the most popular leader in the world, both within Russia and without and that popularity appears to have increased after recent terrorist style attacks into Russian territory and on Russian assets like the Kerch Strait Bridge. That is, a NATO supplied AFU missile strike is a military action. A large truck bomb is a terrorist action and one that killed the unsuspecting truck driver and passengers in nearby motorcars. The Kerch Strait Bridge is repaired and completed in a project timetable of under two months in what would generally take years if done in most Western countries. Perhaps spare spans were in storage, yet given Russia's huge manufacturing depth, they may have been manufactured to order, floated in and hoisted into position by cranes, as reported.

For months has President Zelenskyy argued for the United States to use nuclear weapons against Russia. President Zelenskyy knows that there are certain people of influence within Washington who also favour their use and he figures on appealing to their support, a tactic of the desperate and the dangerous. Alternatively, certain people of influence within Washington who also favour their use in turn use him to run out that line. Saner minds in Washington and The Pentagon prevail. Perhaps more afraid than sane. One question unexamined is how a stage performer and entertainer gained the favour of, or was otherwise chosen by, Washington Elite Interests to run for president and with their considerable yet unseen support. Another question from the realm of the unexamined but not unexplainable is why allegedly educated Westerners give their support to a young, hitherto unknown, foreign national leader who comes to the position with no experience or educational qualifications in government at any level. Others have remarked that an effective cover for the use of Nazi extremists in The Ukraine requires a leader who rises to his position with the right qualities.

And so to the important London Media . . .

When the reality of a lost war that you started is on top of you and all you have left is false narratives and juvenile cartooning because you have nothing substantive on a foreign political leader, you can publish this . . .

How to run a narrative when defeated? One might say sure we lost, but we lost to a bad guy, not a good guy. When consistency counts. The lower right image of nuclear detonations is consistent with Western nuclear fear peddling. It was Washington that used nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear defeated state, Japan, and Washington has threatened their use against non-nuclear and nuclear states over twenty times that are known. It is Washingon's disposition to use nuclear weapons in a pre-emptive strike, by their determinations and that includes their use against non-nuclear armed states. As for who is the pariah, it is Western States as many of the world’s states outside of the Anglosphere join The Great Eurasian Union, dealt with in prior Substack essays.

One's attention is drawn to the use of an American fictional psychopath by a German magazine to vilify a foreign leader and raises the question of just where that story and theme was constructed. DC Comics' Batman Superhero for children has transformed in film into dark psychological dramas that feature psychopathic behaviours, here The Joker. Simply the antithesis of the The West as Batman Superhero against an evil foreign leader, by their staged reckoning, or something far deeper and one that is meant to program young audiences to both commit and accept extreme violence? As mentioned above, they do not come to count the dead. An indifference to their outcomes. Institutionalizing the traits of psychopaths.

Kyiv's War Strategy may now be one of sacrificing what remains of their US-NATO-UK trained, now depleted and formerly largest army in Western Europe, so as to present the Washington - London War Planners with the obvious reality that this lost cause, their lost cause, is lost unless they intervene directly with their own forces and with heavy weapons. This they will not do and another reason for the Russian Armed Forces' economy of force strategy and the Russian go slow strategy that has now unified the Russian State behind the leadership and avoids presenting a politically dramatic and visually damaging circumstance to the US-NATO-UK Leadership that a devastating loss in The Ukraine, like Afghanistan recently, would cause them to dangerously escalate, or consider such face saving action. This extends to keeping sub-threshhold the elimination of British and American Forces in The Ukraine that might otherwise elicit a strong, albeit misguided demand from the populations of each country for a harder response from Their Masters of The Universe, if they came to know too much of it. Here, the populations of both The United States and Britain possess more than a grossly inflated sense of their own military capabilities. EU populations are becoming more realistic.

"If Russia wins, we will get a period of chaos, a flowering of tyranny, wars, genocides, nuclear races” - Ukrainian adviser to the President in Kyiv, signalling that The Proxy War is lost and The West must commit its forces directly. From one former German politician - "Ukrainian fatigue? . . . many African, Central and South American countries side with Moscow". Correct, in so far as they are turning away from The West. They will trade with Russia as Russia has hundreds of years of intrinsically valuable resources and The United States has an unlimited supply of electronically created US dollars - intrinsically worthless and only made valuable by foreign central banks holding US dollars and international trade arrangements, ultimately backed by military threats. The moves made by resource rich countries not to exchange their intrinsically valuable resources for worthless US dollars signals the collapse of the US dollar and the loss of US global power projection.

Contradictions surface, yet with a Western population imbued with the memories and minds of goldfish, what has been published and said will be forgotten, perhaps to avoid those obvious, difficult, hand wringing moments of cognitive dissonance. The narrative of The Ukraine is winning, then the matter of sending weapons to the AFU the equivalent of the entire Russian defense budget in less than one year remains unexamined, for to examine it is to expose the Mainstream Media and the Western Political Leaderships as Class A, unregenerate liars and frauds. As the Ukrainian northern winter sets in, the Russian Armed Forces will finish this campaign and destroy what remains of NATO’s AFU, with AFU casualties to run into hundreds of thousands more dead and hundreds of thousands more wounded. The Western Mainstream Media will be confronted with a cognitive dissonance moment of their creation - The Ukraine has, since February 24th, 2022, been winning and on a military budget exceeding the entire military budget of The Russian Armed Forces, yet suddenly has lost against a third world standard Russian Armed Forces that exhausted its missiles and artillery shells months ago, has suffered significant desertions, is led by a Russian President who directly interferes in military planning without knowing anything of it, while dying of cancer, is mentally deranged, throws tantrums, yet always appears cool, measured and is able to address complex matters in numerous live public addresses, can ride horses, fly military planes, drive speed boats and participate in Judo matches.

The lesson of The Ukraine? Washington allies are entirely expendable, as was Washington's erstwhile ally Iraq and Washington's current ally Germany and other Western European states.

A further, most ridiculous claim is that Russian Weapons Industries use IC Chips retrieved from used, domestic washing machines. Whatever IC Chips are used in military equipment is sophisticated, military grade standard and specific to purpose. Washing machines are the centerpiece of this puerile Western agit prop since most relate to domestic washing machines and know nothing of military affairs, nor the technologies and industries. These examples are designed to convince the targeted audience that the Russian Armed Forces are less than third world. Yet they pose a clear and present danger. The unexamined contradiction and so again are people treated as fools, or as domesticated animals. Those surviving in The Ukraine who now must deal with the destruction of their electricity grid and consequential down stream effects know otherwise. The purpose of portraying the Russian Armed Forces as anything less than what they are is to continue to convince people to commit themselves to the battle. That delusional hope of the Kyiv Government and their Washington - London Capo dei Capis.

As seen in Melbourne, a major capital city within the FIA - The Federal Idiocracy of Australia. It would be pointless to inquire into where exactly such monies for The Ukraine should be directed as the conflict has elements of a civil war, arguable though as The Ukraine is a jigsaw state and this was, among other things, a War of Separation. One might find these presumably small contributions are directed to those in Kyiv cited as selling off a goodly proportion of Western supplied weapons and as small as such contributions from flower sales may be, those important people in Kyiv are not known to place any upper limit to their wealth accumulations.

Of those in The West declaring that they “Stand With Ukraine”, a growing and definable Psychographic Class of Useful Idiots, none may doubt their support for this Washington Proxy War nor recognize it for what it is and thus so do they endorse the immiseration, death and forced migration of tens of millions of Ukrainian civilians caught in this geopolitical war of survival, of both Russia and the United States, for their own unique reasons. It goes without saying that the evident forthcoming and conclusive defeat in The Ukraine of their proxy will convey a US image as one no longer of invincibility and credibility, nor as a superpower, one that actually faded years back but well managed and hidden in its dealings with weaker states. In that very real sense is The United States a Paper Tiger. President Joe Biden recently averred that this war is bigger than The Ukraine. They know it. Retrospectively . . .

"Frankly, I do not know why they are doing this. . . . Are they sane? It seems that this runs completely counter to common sense and logic . . . This is simply crazy. It may seem that there is a subtle, profound plot behind this. But I think there is nothing there, no subtle thought. It is just nonsense and arrogance, nothing else. . . . Such irrational actions are rooted in arrogance and a sense of impunity" - President Vlad Putin, October 27th, 2022.

As Egyptian President Nasser observed decades past when he amusingly and accurately averred to US Foreign Policy thus . . .

"The genius of you Americans is that you never make clear-cut stupid moves, only complicated stupid moves which make the rest of us wonder at the possibility that we might be missing something".

Finally, of the present economic realities and Western strategy outcomes, that the Western Mainstream Media presents The Ukraine as winning ignores metrics of the International Monetary Fund. Ukraine's GDP is down 35% current year, the Ukrainian National Bank cites inflation as over 30% and increasing, the World Bank forecasts that next year 55% of Ukrainians will be below the poverty line and subsisting on less than $2.15 per day, according to The Ukraine’s economics minister, unemployment will exceed 30%, the prime minister stated it is unable to pay pensions and salaries without immediate foreign aid, according to the UN 20% of the population has left the country and another 33% are internally displaced and it has already lost 40% of its electricity generating capacity. The AFU is drafting any male up to the age of 60, having run out of reservists. Battle casualties will be vast.

As attributed to Roman Emperor and General, Julius Caesar - “Men will kill for money but not volunteer to die for money”. Frank Camper, American special forces officer, mercenary and convicted felon similarly remarked - "Live to spend it". Caesar also observed - "Without training, they lacked knowledge. Without knowledge, they lacked confidence. Without confidence, they lacked victory". Relevant here as it characterizes the AFU and US-NATO-UK Forces in the very real sense that whereas they are trained, they are not trained for major theatre conflicts.

Russia War Strategy. That low key, unassuming, finespun touch of a poker-faced poker player. Give nothing away while holding a winning hand and so slowly bleed out the AFU and their US-NATO-UK Sponsors without creating visibly disconcerting disturbances that would crystallize a stronger, unified effort. Understate Ukrainian Armed Forces losses. Under-report Russian battlefield successes. Do not contradict the unblemished, stellar claims of the Washington - London Mainstream Media and their intelligence agency script writers. Russia plays Chess. China plays Go. The West plays that game of chance - Snakes and Ladders.

The above mentioned exchange between Entertainment Host Stephen Colbert and Non-Conforming Guest Tulsi Gabbard highlights an important shift in the Mainstream Media from that in the distant and rapidly dimming past wherein media hosts were neutral on the subject matter, more or less and sought to bring the views of the guest to a wider audience. Now many media hosts take positions clearly identified with major political parties and state ideologies and notably the preferences of broadcast network owners. Just why a media personality's opinions should count for more than any person's taken at random or one's own, or count for anything at all for that matter, is not for them to explain. Their presence in the media is its own validation, as the Canadian English professor and media analyst Marshall McLuhan alluded to decades past. His book from 1967 . . .

That viewers exercise preference towards favoured media hosts is a form of Cult of Personality, they are likely to believe what they are told, apply little critical analysis and are persuaded by impassioned appeals that cater to unconscious prejudices, along with prejudices very much at the surface and the extent to which this is true is the extent to which this is a dangerous social trend, to be exploited by demagogues. Politicized media entertainment hosts exhibit characteristics of demagogues and give appearance to serving the interests of The National Security Apparatus.

Washington-EU-London aggression towards both Russia and China and the present raison d'etre to promote fear of those two states stems entirely from those states' desires to determine their own foreign and domestic policies, free of interference from The Anglosphere. Such independence of policy has them branded as autocratic, anti-Western and always anti-democratic, that most predictably unrelieved of accusations. Overt racism is directed against entire populations, as is evident in all things anti-Russia and anti-China, presently cycling through The West. Anti-Russia, anti-China sentiment has always cycled through The West - refer prior Substack essays Ukraine Notes - The Long Proxy War IV and Great Game Ukraine - Long Proxy War V.

The most remarkable of higher primate defects lies in the ability of higher authorities, by their self-definitions, to convince those like them, other people as their followers, to exchange value in the form of real value, here money and in return they receive words with which they find favour along with the favour of their authority figures bestowed upon them. None too different to resource rich countries exchanging their real and valuable resources for US paper dollars, now US electronically created dollars. That resource rich countries [Russia] and countries with substantive industrial outputs [China] being countries with real national wealth are refusing to exchange real physical value for worthless US currency has them classified as dangerous, autocratic and inferior - less human. It is easy or easier to kill those less human than our righteous selves by our righteous selves.

From an early age are we instructed in the belief that there are higher truths - and there are. The higher truths of the modern era now come curated by the Intelligence Agencies, having moved into the realm of modern popular media, in all its forms [and the political sphere], substituting entertainment in place of information as Aldous Huxley correctly predicted in his 1932 book Brave New World, with concepts lifted from the earlier Russian author Yevgeny Zamyatin, which Aldous Huxley denied but affirmed by his principle student Eric Blair, pen name George Orwell, among other literary luminaries. One may view The Catholic Church Leadership, some one hundred years back, having the producers of encyclopedias sanitize Church history as a success model to modern intelligence agency operations and media. The term propaganda was a Church construct that meant the opposite of its modern day use. Back then, it meant to " . . . be placed in the pasture of the true faith . . . " and Eddy Bernays, Class A narrative manipulator, took that word as the name of his short read 1928 book . . .

In a real sense is that opposite meaning the actual or applied meaning for to be placed in the pasture of the true faith is now to believe the manufactured narrative products conveyed via the Mainstream Media. Eddy Bernays observed that " . . . it was not until 1915 that governments first systematically deployed the entire range of modern media to rouse their populations to fanatical assent". The maneuver necessary to get The United States into The First World War a whole other story.

To make modern day, read government and privateer billionaire, propaganda work requires one to be convinced that by not tuning in to mainstream media narrative writers and talkers, one is missing out on that which is most important. This applies to fictional and docudrama entertainment series, for not having consumed these puts one out of the social in-group, real or perceived and more perceived than real at that. Running off a litany of past must watched series titles that have faded from public consciousness would be met with conscious disdain, as if it all mattered. It matters in the sense that what matters most is that they are to be forgotten as new ones are eagerly embraced. Entertainment is that drug of distraction and it is for that reason that some have looked back in on themselves and said that they wasted their lives consuming fiction and missed everything.

In a very real sense is History history.

When Marshall McLuhan submitted his manuscript The Medium Is The Message to printers, the first run returned as The Medium Is The Massage. He liked it and he ran with it. Here, one could say that Entertainment, that drug of distraction, is that drag of distraction for it drags one down - to the level of the wholesale mainstream media corporate trash who run and front these operations.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are they ravening wolves" - Matthew 7:15.

The standard critique and rhetorical card trick by liberal educated broadcasters is to talk to hypocrisy narratives of The Leadership Class, a broadcast tactic designed to alter nothing of the status quo while giving a vent to ephemeral feelings of rage, quietly put to sleep by simply pointing them out. Those in charge care not of double standards as they operate to a standard that suits their elevated selves. They will not change unless that class is imprisoned under circumstances similar to those of which, say, the young Charles Manson was subjected to as he discovered that he was sent to his American prisons not as punishment but for punishment, courtesy of God fearing Administrations. The Religious Leadership applies a similar sermonizing approach. Here, earthly crimes are spoken to abstractly and they operate to a policy of not naming the names. Their abstractions of moral virtue and sin are not to be reified as they talk falsely to the false gods of wealth accumulation, yet they themselves commit their time to alms for themselves from their wealthy and not so wealthy worshipers. The Leadership Class share something with Charles Manson in that they inspire others to act on their behalf. Manson was never charged with murder as those he inspired were.

A second standard critique and rhetorical card trick is to talk the Personal Probity Narrative, which in turn gives one a sense of righteous self, a sense of certainty that derives from a sense of rightness that goes with righteousness. Far easier it is to accept negative imaging of foreigners and foreign leaders who are to be damned, the cornerstone for that qualification is one of pursuing an independent foreign policy as it is frequently put and this also extends to an independent domestic policy free from foreign interference by, say, the self-appointed democracy endowment agencies of whose missions in foreign countries, when examined closely, draw suspicion for what is subtle internal subversive conduct. Additionally, in emphasizing the Personal Probity Narrative, one must conclude that whatever misfortunes one faces are of one's own making and exclusive making at that, not to have arisen from external factors to oneself, such as factors economic or the interest rate policies of central banks or the push to the so-called gig economy of insecure incomes, for most. Most is not all. Consider, for example, if American broadcaster Oprah Winfrey uses these techniques, a person whose foundational credentials included youthful good looks and the ability for persuasive talk, complemented by communication studies, what looks like a facelift and unpleasant stories of child sexual abuse, not to be diminished but by no means substantive credentials or any for providing other people with advice. Syndicated Psycho-babble.

The technique. Start with what people know. Move to what they believe, which offers vast scope as many believe far more than they know or could possibly explain. Then move on to outright lying, starting small. This works well with broadcasters who built their reputations in light entertainment and very gradually move into the political sphere, a process best managed over several years.

Further techniques. Work to be liked, then to be credible, then to be believed and the last generally follows if one is liked and thought credible, a magical non sequitur. One is believed if one assumes that those whom one likes likes them, even though they don't know oneself. Microphone and camera craft requires one to speak convincingly at that communications device as if it is a real person and one close by at that. It works and it works well even as the media host is physically remote from the media product consumer, unlikely to be ever met and not about to send oneself a dining invitation. That domain is reserved for the very narrow and privileged. Credibility established in one realm is gradually shifted to the more important realm of political mind control, the control of the narrative and thus control of thought and acceptance of policy - right think. A media host may acquire credibility with comic scenes on contemporary social and political affairs or the more serious presenter may delve into contemporary literature that we all are supposed to think we must read. The comic presenter will simplify important and complex political matters to machine gunning cliques - that foreign leader of present contempt is bad and our guy is a hero - and the serious presenter will demonstrate their grasp of abstruse ethical and literary constructs to reinforce the importance of their all-pervading opinions. That their paramount goal is to promote political right thought is evidenced in their guest list. Both the serious and comic presenters will have guests from the political realm of so-called thought leaders who generally face prepared questions, rarely are confronted with difficult interrogations on their track record and, for that, program hosts are very well paid.

One class of difficult questions political leaders and media personalities never face is their support for the Afghanistan and Iraq II Military Campaigns, of which they were permitted to express heartfelt apologies. Failures they were, by their prior, expressed objectives and so to their present campaign that urgently demanded our attention. Specifically, they boost the present US-NATO-UK Ukrainian Proxy War and to that extent are complicit in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians. They are complicit in war crimes and the war itself to advance certain of those in the realm of Western interests while sacrificing others. Whereas it goes without saying that wars are won, not by media narratives but on battlefields and by generals, the Leadership Class saves themselves by media narratives to reconstruct criminal conduct into good intentions that just did not work out. By such reasoning might one infer that these media personalities are stooges of the National Security Apparatus. Except that one need not infer as some personnel from the National Security Apparatus have written to this very point.

International Relations Theory real-politic excludes any concept of a higher authority or authorities like God or gods. Where a major state's interests collide with that of another major state, their is no higher appeal to dispose an outcome to favour one or other state. Their "higher authority" are their generals and their armed forces and now diplomacy from the United States, the UK and Western Europe, such as it is, has been conducted with a gun in their back pocket, while leveling accusations at recalcitrant states, defined as those that can withstand US Treasury Sanctions and financial Gun Boat Tactics and actual Gun Boat Tactics, among other things.

A most stunningly successful outcome of US-Anglo Foreign Policy is the deindustrialization of Germany, of whose economic outputs were superior to those of the United States and the UK. German products were more desirable. German Leadership has accepted this outcome and acquiesce to the destruction of Nord Stream by Washington, as the latter said they would and now have and the German Leadership has turned away from their reliance on cheap Russian energy and essential inputs from Russia and China in conformity with Washington’s diktats. US LNG to Germany can only last so long and then Germany joins the United States in slowly sinking. Control of the world's energy supply by The United States also requires that hydrocarbon energy - oil and gas - remain the energy centerpiece of world industry. That they think they can control. Any commitment by US political parties to a transition to a non-hydrocarbon economy is fraudulent.

Finally and to return to the Personal Probity Narrative, it is instructive to examine the lyrics to one popular American song - God's Gonna Cut You Down, written by the sanctimonious American lyric writer, religious hypocrite, heavy drug user and music performer Johnny Cash. Applied moralizing directed always to the individual within the population and not to Their Leadership, who commit every transgression Cash righteously wrote into the lyrics, none of whom are cut down except on rare occasions by invading armies or special forces assassins, others by international crime syndicates and perhaps in countries with the death penalty and terminal political score settling. One's rewards may be in the afterlife as we are often reminded. One's punishments are here on earth. The rewards of The Leadership Class are in this life; their punishments are in The Afterlife. So, the appeal is to the conforming masses, to remain conforming, predictable and subservient. The definition of the good person - conforming, unquestioning, politically ineffectual, at all times obedient. To quote Pope Gregory XV - to " . . . cease to wander through heresies". Here, Johnny Cash's contradictory lyrics . . .

You can run on for a long time, Run on for a long time, Run on for a long time.

Sooner or later God'll cut you down, Sooner or later God'll cut you down.

Go tell that long tongue liar, Go and tell that midnight rider,

Tell the rambler, the gambler, the back biter, Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down.

Interestingly, Marilyn Manson's video version imagery is incongruent with the lyrics. It has Manson holding a shotgun and not a bible, so evidencing that when it comes to meting out justice, God remains, as always, an unreliable partner.

What's done in the dark will not be brought to light unless the documents are declassified and that is not entirely possible when so many historical documents and records are destroyed and others are substituted and many others [inferred] remain classified. Nothing comes to the light if it comes four generations on, except for historians, mostly ignored.

From The Journal of Civilization, Harper's Weekly edition July 28, 1900, quoting President William McKinley in defense of foreign interests in China against internal resistance - "No blow has been struck except for liberty and humanity and none will be". The opponents of Civilization are depicted in this New York journal as Chinese barbarians with the heads of foreign missionaries on pikes. Internal unrest enabled Western interests to advance their interests via the "civilizing campaigns" of their armed forces.

John Bolton, sometime Washington Foreign Policy Consigliere, troubled himself to inform us with his characteristic literary flourish that "China is the existential threat of the 21st century to the United States and the West" - June, 2021. For The West we interpret as perhaps just The United States or perhaps not The United States but the interests of the very important people in The United States and a few elsewhere. Interestingly, John Bolton did not enunciate The World nor The World Community, perhaps because he knows that most countries in The World are on good terms with BeiJing, if only due to their economic dependencies, such countries gradually relieving themselves of their US-UK dependencies. Just where Washington's Global War on Terror [GWOT] went, in response to The Terror launched upon all those residing in The Realm of Universal Western Goodness and for no particular reason except that "we are good" - so spake President G. W. Bush - from "those people" somewhere in The Middle East remains unexplained as the GWOT Campaign is moved to the Geo-Political Backburner or right off the hotplates entirely as funding is directed into the anti-Russia Campaign and the more recently launched anti-China Campaign. With a reliance in certainty based as always on a mostly compliant population, each with the memory of goldfish. And so . . .

Elections run close between the two major parties in the so-called democratic TaiWan, of which few on the mainland are impressed. More generally, mainland Chinese are just not struck in any positive way with democratic governments in The West, a similar low position more or less taken with those populations of The West as judged from their well surveyed impressions of both the democratic processes and institutions, extending to those in Western leadership positions. Western Democracy is taught in mainland Chinese schools and this includes the history of American Democracy, such as it is now. Educated mainland Chinese have a far better appreciation of The West than Westerners have of China, very few of whom have studied Chinese history and culture and derive their thoughts from Western Mainstream Media propaganda campaigns, currently geared up to demonize all things Chinese as they tap into traditional anti-Chinese racist sentiments that extend back over hundreds of years. More generally, Western Democracies are seen as unstable, predatory and irredeemably corrupt. An accurate view. Refer prior Substack essay - The China Mirage.

The TaiWan President Cài Yīngwén represents The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), the other political party being the Kuomintang (KMT), the first political party of former Chinese Leader JiangJieShi (ChiangKaiShek under the obsolete Wade-Giles System) and established with American money when he fled mainland China in 1949 after losing the civil war to MaoZeDong's forces. Paradoxically, it is the KMT that would accept unification with the mainland and thus is not the favoured political party of Washington, even as some fifty percent of the TaiWan voting population support the KMT. President Cài Yīngwén, perhaps sensitive to her slim electoral majority, at this moment ramps the China threat with claims of an imminent invasion, thought highly unlikely. Interestingly, TaiWan governance and mainland China governance are none too dissimilar. Both are authoritarian governments that have close ties with business. This sits well with the Chinese Confucian mindset in both states and continues to do so provided that the governments meet the needs of the populations, mentioned below. Westerners living in either state would find some rules suffocating but not so the populations. A well ordered society remains very important and it is notable that one never sees acts of vandalism in China, not because of any fear of the police but because the Chinese population sees a connection with their society and themselves and one within which they wish to succeed.

Notably, President Cài Yīngwén was nominated as one of the most influential and important people in the world, according to other influential and important people in The West, has been praised for standing up to China, presumably on Washington's behalf and thus has the credentials and appearances of a well groomed Western stooge. TaiWan's economy, incidentally, is highly dependent on trade with China, there are some one million Taiwanese resident in mainland China and who work there and the mainland Chinese Government could easily and quickly destroy TaiWan's economy and society simply by stopping all flights and trade with TaiWan and freeze TaiWan bank monies deposited in China, moves they are unlikely to ever make. To suggest that Cài Yīngwén, president of a very small island state is one of the most influential and important people in the world is both absurd and obvious propaganda. Of one TaiWan standout industry, semiconductors, the actual edge that TaiWan's dominant semiconductor manufacturers have in world of high density integrated circuit manufacture will eventually pass to China. Just how this can be prevented is causing considerable policy difficulties with Washington Planners whose policies are damaging US chip manufacturers' profits. The Chinese Government attracts Taiwanese technology specialists to the mainland with higher salaries to advance mainland China's technology interests.

President Cài Yīngwén being instructed on Lessons of The Ukraine. Lesson #1 - Take on a major military power on behalf of another state? Be destroyed.

Notably, the TaiWan Armed Forces have made clear that they do not want nor need the US Armed Forces to sail US Navy war ships through the TaiWan Straits, under the entirely false maneuver of Freedom of Navigation. Most shipping through the TaiWan Straits is Chinese commercial container shipping, entirely unrestrained and this creates the absurd notion that the BeiJing Government is impeding the movement of its own ships, which it is not. Sailing warships close to any country without switching down their fire control systems is not out of Freedom of Navigation concerns and never was and has everything to do with a tangible demonstration of force. Given the array of China's standoff weapons, now claimed as hypersonic and thus unstoppable and over greater distances, this makes US Navy ships floating coffins, a reality confirmed by Rand Corporation and US Navy war simulations, wherein in a war with China, the US Navy goes to the bottom. This may seem like the end of that line of reasoning and it assumes the unstated - that the Washington Leadership Lunatic Fringe would avoid pushing for the use of nuclear strikes on China, not the case during the Cold War with Russia, that case being that in a nuclear exchange with Russia, the US would also strike China even as they remained out of the fight and without nuclear weapons, as declassified US documents clarified. Left unstated were the reasons for this US pre-emptive strike strategy and so one may surmise an argument of "no last man standing". That is, if Russia and the US devastated each other, the US would ensure that the Chinese State was in no position to dominate the post-war environment. That further assumes something of an environment remaining and back then, major war planners were not ready to embrace the concept of a Nuclear War Induced Climate Cooling to sop Photosynthesis, as some now do not.

China is not a communist country and is a one party capitalist market economy, say, a free open market authoritarian state with a strong presence of foreign corporations - US, British, European, Japanese and Middle Eastern along with Chinese State Enterprises and Chinese Private Enterprises. The Chinese System, more or less, suits mainland Chinese well, even as they recognize that the inner circles of The Chinese Communist Party take care of business that is in their interests. The Party understands that they cannot leave the people behind and recognize that to maintain power and retain a unified country, they must ensure that the population is fed, employed, making money and the country remains unified in what they describe as a Harmonious Society. This they do and breaking this arrangement down is one basis of US sanctions against China where the intention, as with Russia, is to create internal discontent, remove the government and divide the country, frankly absurd as the present style of governance suits most people. Whatever remaining positive thoughts that mainland Chinese had concerning The United States have dissipated over US moves against Russia, sacrificing The Ukraine. The Chinese have taken notice of what has been done to The Ukraine. Foreign influence operations in the north west province of XinJiang region are known to them.

The BeiJing Government recently announced a major crackdown on internal corruption, a move decried by Western Interests. What suits Western Interests is internal corruption and an open society as this enables foreign intelligence influence operations within China, reported as very effective until sometime around 2010 when the BeiJing Leadership recognized the degree of infiltration by Central Intelligence within senior government departments. A closed society more or less precludes this and Western Intelligence found it more difficult to infiltrate Soviet operations, money being far less of a motivator under the closed society of the Soviet Union. Incomes were controlled and so was spending. In contrast, Russian Intelligence had more freedom to operate within open societies like the United States where money could be a motivator and was, provided double agents did not overspend and so draw attention to themselves as did CIA officer Aldridge Ames who made the mistake of living well beyond his means from the money he received as a Russian double agent.

As a result of detecting successful CIA operations within China, the BeiJing Government intelligence agencies struck back and infiltrated the operations of the US Federal Government, major world travel agencies and major hotel operators to extract personnel files and travel records from computer systems, amounting to several hundred million, perhaps more. With the combined power of Supercomputers, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Software, technology realms where China dominates and strategic technology at that, Chinese Intelligence could determine who had the profiles of Western intelligence operatives within China and elsewhere. Those in China were picked up and never heard of again - they went dark as Western intelligence operatives expressed it. Those elsewhere could be monitored and are.

Taiwanese President Cài Yīngwén, as a student, took her law degrees in London and may well have been tapped, as are other foreign students from well off and influential foreign families. David Cameron, former British Conservative Prime Minister, took the trouble to inform us that, as a university student, he was tapped in a failed attempt by Russian Intelligence to become an agent of theirs. David Cameron did not address the matter of whether British Intelligence do similar things with those from foreign countries who are attracted to come to British universities and then return to make their way up within domestic politics in their home countries. Third world countries still have an upper class of wealthy families who send their children to foreign, often Western, universities and this included former Libyan President Gaddafi's son who attended The London School of Economics, a matter that caused some minor concern amongst those who questioned why we have such close relations with "those people" when matters between The West and "those people" in the Libyan Government turned tense. As for "those people", Libya was converted from the wealthiest economy in Africa to a destroyed country by "those people" from Britain, the US and NATO and for reasons that can be largely summed up as Libya pursuing independent foreign and domestic policies that excluded dependence on Western institutions and influence - financial and economic. The lessons of Libya, Russia and more recently Pakistan, with the removal of President Imran Khan, is that if you attempt to pursue foreign and domestic policies independent of Western, notably, Washington institutions and diktats, we will overthrow you, or attempt to, a reality that would not have escaped the attention of Dr. Cài Yīngwén.

Meanwhile, the Government of TaiWan continues to arm up with US Weapon Systems which could be seen as not entirely of a defensive nature, extending to an offensive war class. Business remains brisk for US armaments manufacturers and US-UK intelligence influence operations remain as effective as ever in promoting the correct narratives in TaiWan and more generally foreign countries and in support of those people who will serve as future beacons of community leadership to promote Western Leadership interests, even as they sell out their country's domestic interests. That Western Intelligence is able to split the interests of an historically unified Chinese people, some of them, on a small and otherwise inconsequential island and turn them against the very near mainland Chinese people points to their very effective, proven and continuing Influence Operations and which remain a mainstay of Western global influence. Democracies, after all, are not run by majorities and are run by small, highly organized and politically unified groups who can take power and do and claim representation of the majority while taking decisions in their narrow interests. It suits Western Intelligence influence operations to deal with democracies, so-called, than bought off autocratic leaderships, as this gives the veil of legitimacy that democratic narratives provide, no matter how false that one remains.

Finally, the BeiJing leadership talks to TaiWan unification by 2049. Alfred McCoy, American professor of history talks to the collapse of US power projection by 2030 and, by implication, its withdrawal from Asian theatre.

Footnote to The China Mirage: The expression "beacons of community leadership" is one of those magical media metaphors to reify the image of the light in the darkness, attached to a person as one of the chosen, seen within the mind's eye as a ship with a searchlight guiding the way though the dense night fog to safety and a bright new day. Similar metaphors were attached to President Joe Biden in the runup to the US Midterm Elections where pro-Democrat political satirists qualified all anti-Democrat voters as right wing fascist supporters of a media savvy yet otherwise political non-entity Donald Trump. Other metaphors attached to President Biden remained mostly subliminal and so attracted less attention and one included the term "marionette", from Suzanne Massey, a former President Ronald Reagan Russia back channel negotiator. Both Reagan, Massey and others worked to reduce the prospects for a nuclear war between the two most heavily armed states, Russia and The United States, which they did. Joe Biden as President, along with former Presidents Trump, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate-in-Chief Obama, Bush and Clinton escalated prospects for war with Russia and now China. Washington maintains the doctrine of nuclear strike first use against all states, nuclear and non-nuclear, while complaining now of China's weapons enhancements including the level of their new nuclear weapons security doctrine. BeiJing decided they needed a higher level.

"What are we here for Ladies? Kill, Kill, Kill. What makes the grass grow? Blood, Blood, Blood".

Training rhyme of the British SAS and for those who are selected from Regular Forces and make it through the very demanding training - most don't - they go on to perform operations on His Majesty's Service, none too different to the Middle Eastern ISIS but with better training, better weapons and "better outcomes", by their self-definition. Special Forces are our Governments' trained terrorists and assassins, as any of them who are prepared to talk to this helpfully inform. Few do. Some do. Some admit to admiration for the SS of Nazi Germany, considered at the time the best of the best. On their admitted conduct in operations in foreign countries by some, the difference between the SAS and the German Nazi SS is the letter "A". We observe the qualifier to discriminate the German Nazis from the present Ukrainian Armed Forces' Nazi Units, trained by Western Special Forces. And so, the rich, expansive and fertile agricultural earth of The Ukraine continues in its heavy treatment of largely Ukrainian Armed Forces blood and bone while the World's Finest Fighting Force maintains itself at a safe distance, a very safe distance.

The American journalist and short story writer Ambrose Bierce, who described The American Civil War from first hand experience and which included interviews with dying soldiers, averred to an elementary disposition of human behaviour and principle military concern, that being that most soldiers, largely conscripts, acted to avoid killing other soldiers including those who could be shooting at them and so either did not fire their muskets at the opposing line of soldiers or otherwise directed the high or to the ground. Many muskets, subsequently excavated from battle sites, were found to have been reloaded several times and not fired. Ambrose Bierce observed this directly, as did senior military officers. This was known and characterized conflicts extending back centuries. The problem and one that had to be fixed was how to turn a normal human being with a natural aversion to injuring or killing complete strangers into an efficient killing machine, something that followed orders and with a general disregard for one's own safety. That was the problem. That problem has been fixed. During The American Civil War, although some would argue that is was not a civil war but a War of Separation as The South was not fighting for control of the Northern Government, the proportion of soldiers who actually fired to kill was of the order of a few percent. That was the mid-1800's. The proportion of those soldiers now who shoot to kill is as close to one hundred percent as it was back then close to zero. As some who write on these matters and from their first hand experience, this easily extends to killing civilians and frequently does, a matter known to the Leadership Class and persistently denied by them, even to the point of running prosecution cases against a chosen few for war crimes, generally land force staff, a defining fraud of the modern Western Era.

Of just what was done to rectify this expensive resistance against acting as an efficient, state trained and sanctioned killing machine . . .

Mike, a man well into his seventies and who described himself as coming from a military family although he did not serve, recounted some of the experiences of his father, an Australian special forces officer who acted in New Guinea during the nineteen thirties and forties, but on account of who's interests did he act? Within Australian Special Forces was the Z Special Unit and Mike's father was trained for that unit, considered a forerunner of the SAS. Mike had one photo, black and white, from his father's experiences, sometime from the 1930's. This depicted his father, tall and very lean, next his wife, behind them an open cockpit, two-seater single engine plane with which they would fly around New Guinea, next to her one of the Leahy brothers, a prospector for New Guinea mineral wealth, the same height as Mike's father but with a heavier build and next to him another shorter man, unknown.

Mike's father was highly trained and very effective and, along with colleague special forces personnel, had to deal with Japanese Special Forces who preceded the Japanese Army's invasion of New Guinea. His father described Japanese Special Forces as like them, tall and thus untypical of regular Japanese soldiers, very highly trained, very effective and very dangerous. Mike's father was never injured, although colleagues were, or killed or captured, never to be seen again. Mike recounted an incident with New Guinea natives who were objecting to the presence of foreigners in their home area and source of sustenance. A group of some twenty New Guinea men, a war party and dressed accordingly, with face paint and feather, bows and arrows, drew near. The chief was discerned by different paint and feathers. As Mike recounted, his father, a dead shot, brought his high powered rifle to his shoulder, aimed at the New Guinea native chief, fired one shot that struck him in the head, killing him in an instant as he fell to the ground. As Mike recounted, the natives picked up the body of their chief, then disappeared into the jungle, not to be seen again. When the war ended, Mike's father built plantations that he owned and accumulated much wealth. Growing up, Mike said that his father owned expensive American motor cars.

Mike's brother, at nineteen, was conscripted to Australia's essentially negligible participation in the American War on Vietnam, after the French Colonialists departed and from what they liked to call French Indo-China, a war that is subject to a de facto news blackout in Australia, as is Washington's longest war, the Afghan Campaign also subject to a news blackout and so never referenced as the US-NATO-UK Ukrainian Proxy War Campaign, along with allied vassals, takes front and centre media programming. Mike's brother was trained as a gunnery commander and located in South Vietnam. He had an artillery formation under his control, a high skill task. The heat and humidity were oppressive; they worked with little clothing. It is usual for artillery personnel not to see the outcomes of their artillery operations, firing shells as they do over distances from several tens to hundreds of miles. On one occasion, as Mike related, during a night offensive by the North Vietnamese Army, they were directed to bring their artillery barrels to near horizontal and fire continuously into the night at unseen targets, a sort of saturation bombing. This they did. In the morning, Mike's brother ventured out and observed first hand what exploding artillery shells do to people and forests. This was a traumatic experience for someone that young and who was not infantry.

His Vietnam War presence had him exposed to chemical plant defoliants, Agent Orange so-called and another form of chemical warfare, banned under International Law conventions but as important Washington luminaries persist in informing The Rest, The United States Government acts according to The Rules-Based International Order, an expression that has no meaning within International Law and an expression that the liberal educated class, that Leni Reifenstahl Submissive Void, are quite incapable of explaining just exactly what is meant while passively accepting its not infrequent use from their propagandizing media favourites with their Romantacist Narratives, a disease of the modern Western mind, a whole other story. Incidentally, United States Forces used chemical weapons in their North Korean War, along with time delayed munitions that were dropped via US Air Force operations on North Korean population centres, as per declassified US documents, such use so being classified as terrorist weapons, another of the other whole other stories. Mike's brother returned to Australia and died of then but not so now obscure diseases, around the age of twenty three.

Both the Australian Government and the United States Government deny a connection between chemical defoliants for plants and any crossover effects with human tissue, a proposition that treats us as fools as the most elementary appreciation of Biochemistry illustrates common biochemical pathways within plants and animals, a crude dichotomy. After his son's early death and a military experience that did not parallel his father's almost magical "boy's own experience", Mike's father thereafter took to heavy drinking and smoking, as Mike described it his father shrunk down from a tall, strong and healthy man to a smaller, bent over pathetic near cripple of his former self. He died at sixty eight.

Heroic narratives of especially secret special forces overlook both the broader causes for their presence and actions in regions away from home, say, the causes for the second world war, while focusing here on the less than polite behaviour of Japanese Forces towards allied forces, as well as how overall strategic objectives are obscured and made invisible to service personnel via Task Breakdown or Atomization, wherein those operating somewhere in the chain of activity or Kill Chain are never exposed to overall strategic planning or historical imperatives, reasons why government documents remain classified well after conflicts have past. Reasons would emerge that contradict the heroic, romanticist and always simplified narratives that attend remembrance ceremonies and anti-war songs, in essence, self-serving elite propaganda.

There are reasons serving personnel are told not to speak to their war experiences, the last element in a long line of psychological controls, prior to discharge.

“We sleep safely at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would harm us" - Winston Churchill. Precisely just who "those" are and why they might intend to harm us is to found in other matters that Churchill addressed elsewhere in his extensive writings.

The Scene of The Crime as here, Dangerous Elite Private School Educated Tyrants, the then Senator Joe Biden, also Chairman of the influential Senate Foreign Relations Committee, extends His Support and the unconditional commitment of the Democrat Party to Republican President George Bush for the Iraq War II Campaign, a very public war waged for the benefit of very private interests and for various public reasons that, for a time, varied from year to year. Inquisitive school children are known to run into insurmountable difficulties attempting to discover if there was ever a war that the good and upright church going Joe Biden did not support, as senator or as President. Perhaps his avoidance of committing The World's Finest Fighting Force to a war with The Russian Armed Forces might be cited but then others have argued that it is The Russian Armed Forces that are The World's Finest Fighting Force, better than before given their practical experience with annihilating The Western backed US-NATO-UK trained Ukrainian Armed Forces and reconfigured now for greater force projection, an outcome diametrical to that sought.

The mechanisms, well proven and effective in converting young men on the normal spectrum of behaviour into on-call professional killers proceeds as follows and applies principles of behavioural conditioning and impressed authority, not entirely divorced from those used by Dr. Stan Milgram in 1961 at Yale, a professor of Psychology, in his Obedience to Authority studies, to demonstrate that certain personalities, the subjects of the study, could be coerced and over a very short time, to apply a lethal electrical procedure they think is killing another person remote from them (one they could not see but could hear) and proceed to do so, as they believed, while hearing the terminal screams of the victim, an actor out of sight of the human subject. Such research may no longer be performed in publicly funded universities as their Ethics Boards would disallow. Military research units and privately funded institutions are a different matter. What remains remarkably consistent within the minds of the general public is the belief in free will, but not by marketing executives. For those giving close attention to Anthropology and History, it is evident that the capacity to kill another human resides across the spectrum of normal behaviour and can be activated by various means including accepted authority figures who grant permission and may well thereafter grant absolution. Most people who kill other people are on the normal spectrum, however The State does not tolerate privateers and so has laws against murder. State sanctioned or exonerated killings are another matter. The State has a large investment in The Social Order and Behavioural Control to enable a functioning economy that underpins all State functions and State conduct in regard to the USS Vincennes Incident and the Wounded Knee Massacre discussed below serve as examples - one foreign, one domestic. Stan Milgram noted the personality traits of those who could be impressed to kill anoher person and that included obsequious, compliant, obedient types. Fred West, Gloucestershire County UK serial murderer of young women was obsequious, compliant, obedient and repressed, among other things and his childhood development could be seen as a training program in how to turn out monsters who blend in. Media depictions of real murderers are not accurate and are to be read as propaganda.

Armed Forces conditioning methods include repetition, harsh punishments, manipulation of language, indoctrination, in-group bonding and the creation of hatred for the outgroup, especially civilians. Priests within the armed forces can deal with the common and predictable question concerning the religious prohibition to kill - the usual ecclesiastical gymnastics a prerequisite skill for their lie mission. Simplification of all matters via depoliticization and moral certainty leads to the chosen few, those who make it through the harsh training regime, to be possessed of one purpose and that purpose is to go to war and kill our enemies. We ourselves are noble and our objectives and actions are righteous for we are from a great and noble country, as we are told and made to feel. Special Forces will be subject to sleep deprivation while undertaking physically arduous tasks extending over days and without food, will be confronted with contrived and hostile foreigners, will be subject to simulated capture, mistreated and threatened while hallucinating from lack of sleep, taken with physical and psychological exhaustion. Attractive women can be used to break down Special Forces trainees, thoroughly exhausted via preceding experiences, stripped and treated in ways one might associate with fantasies found in Greek Mythology.

The purpose of Drilling, so-called, can be lost on some. The constant repetition of the same routines instills group bonding and coordination with the now special group, with even minor departures from proscriptive methods punished severely. Thus, when that soldier is facing into, say, effective enemy fire, he will automatically and reflexively respond as trained, read programmed and activate methods to return fire without activating any Flight Response. The only response required is the Fight Response.

Standoff, distance from the kill (target), receives it special attention for the further one is from those to be killed, the easier it becomes. Indeed, if the human target, say a city, is completely out of sight, they are most easily fired upon, by artillery, missiles or bombs from aircraft. Infantry soldiers may be trained to fire on human targets at around three hundred meters. At that distance, the features of the person being fired upon are not easily discerned. Here, manipulation of language by superiors is critical in avoiding any description of the target that imputes human character. Aim at the centre of the mass, meaning their upper body, so the chest or back is that target, also neck and head and a bullet on target will most likely kill immediately or soon after. The target falls to the ground.

Drone Operators have presented with greater psychiatric effects due to the closer proximity of the drone to the target or, more precisely, with the ability to loiter plus precision high magnification optics, the drone operator perhaps thousands of miles distant from the target can witness in real time the outcome from firing a Hellfire Missile. Drone Operators may not necessarily be drawn from the armed forces, may not have received infantry training and will have been chosen for their skills at a Control Desk using joystick like equipment and screens. Eliminating undesirable people, however defined, with the push of a button has been a longstanding theme of dystopian literature.

Group Punishment enlists all others in the training group to take a view of themselves that they cannot let down the group and that a failure to hold up to standards lead to punishment by the group against the individual, to complement punishments metered out by superiors. Superiors will not always present. It is the punishment from other group members that reinforces an ever constant fear of failure to perform to standard. As members who could not perform to requirements fall away, those remaining feel special and superior, imbued with a sense of purpose and a part of something greater than themselves. Just how much greater that something is remains obscured, which can be due to deliberate task breakdown or compartmentalizing and the depoliticizing of everything that is done. Some of this is depicted in the Stanley Kubrick film Full Metal Jacket.

Having conditioned in a sense of being a part of something greater than oneself, even as that greater something remains abstract, runs simultaneously with the sense that orders are never to be questioned. To exhibit an independence of thought would threatens one's membership of the group and would invite the group to punish the individual as complementary to an individual failure to perform would lead to group punishment by commanding officers and reprisals thereafter by one's own colleagues.

Dealing with native communities and killing natives is easy or easier as they have different features, they speak an incomprehensible language, have different dress, usually come with different skin colour and different eye shapes, seen as living in visibly primitive conditions to Western sensibilities and do not not present as Anglo-white if one examines the colonial history of Britain, The United States and Western European States whose imperial paradigm was to overwhelm weaker states. The Atlantic Slave Trade stands as an example of task breakdown or compartmentalizing as no single person carried off all tasks through the entire chain, from slave capture in Africa, the first task and one undertaken by cooperative African kingdoms, their leaderships well paid, through to the final delivery of Africans who survived and transferred into the slave markets of The West.

It comes as no surprise that infantry and special forces are composed of working class men who have a narrow education, lack a worldly outlook and are not products of the Private School System, that pathway generally the preserve of the Officer Class. The former may have an unconscious sense of class inferiority and would value approval and acceptance by a more highly educated class and here their admittance into an armed forces, an arrangement that validates their sense of worth. In the trial of Adolph Eichmann, Dr. Hannah Arendt noted just how ordinary a figure Eichmann was, a former sales clerk who found a sense of higher purpose within the German Armed Forces. There is nothing exceptional here and all organizational structures rely on adherence to rules, conformity to the authority structure and a sense of belonging. What is also unexceptional that this built in potential is consistently denied by an Apparatus of Authority that itself depends upon for its existence.

The Wounded Knee Incident and the USS Vincennes Matter are notable for the killing of entirely civilian targets. The USS Vincennes war ship shot down an Iranian passenger jet in 1988 and the Union Army killed a large number of Indian families on a reservation in 1890 using battlefield weapons. In both matters, the commanding officer of the USS Vincennes and soldiers of the Union Army received decorations for their service thereafter. In the trade known as sending a message.

The present is to be found in the past. Within The United States did the leadership at many levels plan and execute the most successful annihilation of a native people known and in observing this do we accord credit where credit is richly deserved.

And of a most recent major campaign . . .

Our diplomacy doesn’t hinge on boots on the ground" - President Joe Biden disengenuously describing the rapid withdrawal US-NATO-UK and Allied Forces from Afghanistan so as to reinforce the Pivot To Asia and position for The Ukraine Proxy War, wherein it can be reasonably surmised that The Russian Armed Forces would be in a sorry state soon enough and US-NATO-UK Armed Forces, directed from The Realm of Manifest Destiny, would attack, as they figured it. It's been refigured ever since. As for that Afghan Campaign, under a de-facto news censorship, it is generally acknowledged that US armed forces deaths exceed six thousand and for Afghan people it may exceed two hundred thousand.

Indeed can Washington's erstwhile allies or enemies be today's enemies or allies and tomorrow's discarded and forgotten country or otherwise not, contingent on how interests are perceived. As several US State Department Secretaries helpfully inform with the expression "our interests", however constructed.

The role of armed forces personnel - follow orders and make the world safe for Western Imperialism. Here, judgment shall be by results. Russia decouples from The West.

End Note III: The phantom of that ever illusive Ukrainian Armed Forces, read US-NATO-UK, victory is now that existential crisis in the Centers of Western Geo-Political Planning. What is to be done? Their public, here notably American, has been brought to an unfavourable belief of Russia, another of the dark Bad Lands, as those occupied by heathen native Indians prior to their organized liquidation. Substantively, it is a belief that Russia is a weak industrial state, that their armed forces are third world Afghanistan quality, their people are in opposition to The Government, that they prefer Western culture and their President is erratic, byzantine and feckless. None of this is true. What is true is precisely the opposite.

The greater crisis for The West stems from that longest of the Long Shots - breaking Russia into several, fractious states to act as sources of low cost materials and manufacturing. Similar ambitions were scoped for China - as a low cost manufacturer to Western diktats. Colonial Exploitation reimagined. The Reality of Now is not that China and Russia have turned against The West. It is that they have turned away from The West and its ideological raison d'etre, apparent in wealth disparities, predatory Capitalism, fractious societies and a self-serving elite leadership class, those Systems Managers of Universalist Anglo-American Values, read Imperialism and anything but ethical.

Understood no less by them, less so by others, is that Russia is the largest country, possesses hundreds of years of raw materials, has vast pristine regions and a small population. The West is none of these and has failed in its colonial quest of possession. A fundamental strategic failure of understanding by The Systems Managers - Western sanctions, always illegal, suit the Russian Government and it reconstructs its industries away from The West and so has the corrupt Western leadership accelerated the formation of The Great Eurasian Union, which The West exempts itself from. Outcomes diametrical to their obvious intentions.

What is to be done? What can be done? Failures abroad lead to repression at home. Western societies will be managed [devolved] into totalitarian, fascist states to preserve the financial and power interests and safety of The Leadership Class.
