The Ukraine Proxy War was the US-NATO-UK Plan to dissipate the Russian Armed Forces, degrade Russia’s economy and trade via sanctions and its removal from SWIFT, tip out Vladimir Putin, the most popular leader in the world and split the country, all while choosing his successors. All this, the longest of long shots! The ultimate Crap Shoot. The Russian Military has destroyed that Plan and is in a position to keep going - their choice.

The Russian Government's reconstruction of the Russian economy to overcome all sanctions directed at it by Washington including removal from SWIFT, their punishment regime on non-compliant countries, flags the end of Washington's global dominance. It did not last long and brings to mind Spengler's remarks concerning Nazi Germany's One Thousand Year Reich - It won't last ten years. It didn't. Oswald Spengler authored The Decline of The West, 1918.

"History is something that takes no notice whatever of our expectations." Spengler. Russia has other ideas.

Contrasting American foreign adventurism and bankruptcy - of Chinese merchants gambling during the construction of The Great Wall, from the 7th century on, as it is written, first they lost the money in their pockets, then they lost the merchandise on their carts and finally they lost the clothes off their backs, to freeze to death in the very cold north winds off the Gobi Desert. Their lesson was that they never set loss limits. Neither do the Americans and they are unable to conceive of a loss of power. Nor do they understand History. Not Russian. Not Chinese. That Sam Huntington moment. Of the Great Wall of China, it never worked. Walls were breached. Guards were bribed. Gates were opened.

It is in Washington and London that operational decisions for their Ukrainian Proxy War are formulated - read target selection and the uploading of coordinate data to weapons fire control computers by Ukrainian based Western military personnel, as it is impossible to train any foreign military, here the Armed Forces of the Ukraine [AFU], in any relevant time. The AFU's role is to provide Ukrainian manpower, entirely expendable and so die, their deaths probably exceeding 100,000, a stunning number, not counting those injured. Russian dead are probably a fraction of that. A number of conclusions flow from this, some obvious and none that can be evaded. The experienced officers and senior sergeants that were the backbone of the AFU are now mostly dead, as reported. US-NATO-UK War Planners, variously called curators, an interesting use of a term originally reserved for respectable museum professionals, know their Proxy War is lost. Russia has absorbed everything thrown at it - so far.

Yet, according to the US publication National Security Daily and from a senior administration official - "We don't select targets . . . ".

Of Kyiv's War, so called and its placement within the London - Washington Mainstream Media, this no longer receives front page lead position and it drifts lower down, with the occasional urgent headline. As Western economies continue their economic and social decline, for most, the vilifying of the two most powerful foreign states must necessarily continue - target China, target Russia, with Russia in lead position. The message is - no matter how bad you have it here [in Western countries], what they represent is far, far worse! Check, say, the cost of Russian energy for their citizens. The Russian President remarked recently, perhaps in a moment of nightmarish contemplation but not for them but for The West and in regard to Washington-London-Brussel's Proxy War on Russia - "We have not started anything yet". The Russian State and the Russian War Machine plan matters carefully. They take their time. It brings to mind the remarks of Vladimir Lenin on revolutionary events in Russia one hundred years ago - "There are decades when nothing happens and weeks when decades happen". Of The Russian War Machine, it is now the most tested and proven in the world, having defeated the most well trained and heavily armed military in Europe, the AFU, courtesy of Western Curators. Of the latter and their outcome, out of professional respect and courtesy does one accord them credit where credit is richly deserved.

Russian resource exports point East. Russia's War Machine points West. Punishment will come, at least in a loss of preferential supply treatment and pricing for Russian resources. Whether a destructive Russian military response comes may lie in the hands of US-NATO-UK Planners as it seems that they are unable to do anything other than double down. Their combined target - China and Russia. You take on one; both take you on.

For that One Indispensable Nation, a State of Exception exists . . .

August 26th, 2022 it was reported that as US President Joe Biden vows to "inflict pain" and deliver "a crushing blow" to Vladimir Putin and the Russian economy through restrictions on certain items Russia does export beyond energy, other items amounting to €1 billion per month go to the United States. Exports such as vodka, diamonds and gasoline are sanctioned, but wood, metals and rubber are arriving at US ports. Trade restrictions apply to others, read allies and enemies alike and these have had a deteriorating effect on European economies. Since the start of Russia's SMO, some 3,600 shipments from Russia have arrived at US ports.

Was The Ukraine ever close to Washington? From the present Mainstream Media programming, it appears so. It was not. Ukraine’s important to Washington is its proximity to Russia and affording Washington the means to create a crisis in The Ukraine to undermine Russia as a stable, prosperous and independent state. [That Washington-London elites were pillaging the country is another matter]. On that objective was The Ukraine hung out to dry. Of all other of Washington's vassal states, frequently referred to as allies, they cannot but notice. None of the above outcomes were contemplated in the planning for this Proxy War. It should hasten their departure from US dollar control, SWIFT as well along with resisting Washington's threats, likely to become more aggressive.

The Ukraine, in accordance with Washington diktats, was the only other government to vote against the United Nations' Anti-Nazi Motion condemning Nazism around the world, along with the United States, 2021. Many Western state governments abstained. It goes without saying that those countries' populations would, without exception, have voted in favour of that motion if it was a direct people’s vote, which it never is. The Government is not the people.

TaiWan is like The Ukraine, to be used against China. TaiWan too could be hung out to dry [although a change of the government in TaiWan may alter its foreign policy trajectory]. As pitched in the Western Mainstream Media, TaiWan should heed the lessons of The Ukraine. Which lesson exactly that should be is evaded and unexamined. Say - Be used by one superpower against another? Be destroyed.

It is axiomatic that Washington [and its Western principle vassals, London and others] runs economic wars for geopolitical hegemony and elite prosperity. Projected in the highly concentrated Western Mainstream Media as a force for good in the world. In reality, for the possession of other [weaker] countries' natural resources and suppression of world competition in their favour. The qualifier is notable. Russia is not weaker. In that sense of the world correlation of forces, the machinery of Washington's continuing geo-political failures is to accelerate The Great Eurasian Union, now bringing forth The Eurasian Century as The West fades to lesser significance. Russia largely points its trade East. Russia points its most formidable military West. The Russians are definitely not coming. Not to The West.

"One indispensable nation" Washington leadership, who emphasize that the only leadership is American leadership, in their own descriptive and almost missionary terms, face more than economic decline. They face a psychiatric break with reality. Most apparent will this be to them when countries other than in The West, the majority of the world, act independently to abandon the US dollar as the defacto world currency, withdraw from SWIFT and ignore Washington diktats. Elite insiders are planning for a post-US dollar world, as reported but not widely.

Factually, the two indispensable nations of the world are now China and Russia. China is the world's manufacturing industrial powerhouse. Russia, among other things, supplies necessary resources to China and the world. Rather than accepting second tier status or less, the Washington leadership will further turn The United States into a War Machine as Nazi Germany did. It already is a War Machine with similarities to Nazi Germany.

If Washington confronts Russia in Europe directly [conventional conflict], European and American military losses will rapidly escalate to the hundreds of thousands, or millions. The caution that the Russian Armed Forces observed to avoid civilian deaths in the Eastern Ukrainian Provinces, taking casualties themselves, is unlikely to be a factor of their operational calculus there. The European Chiefs of Staff probably understand these outcomes and thus the reason there should be no major war in Europe. War by miscalculation? A low probability even as European leadership hysteria continues. The generals understand what they would be dealing with. But then . . .

Of US-NATO-UK Planning and Desperation - Like waking in the black of night from a bad Foreign Policy nightmare and that soft voice you imagine you hear whispers - "You know, there still is room inside your head for just one more crazy idea." NATO’s Pivot To Asia.

In this operation, Russia is exercising more care than does the US Armed Forces Planners. Of the former, they appreciate a Neitzche truth - "One must guard oneself against attaining victory at the cost of the original reasons why one sought the victory".

The US-NATO-UK Strategy Plan for The Ukraine and Russia appeared thus:

• Courtesy of The World’s Finest Fighting Force, train for several years and equip a heavily armed Ukrainian Armed Forces of units that position themselves close to the two Eastern Ukrainian Russian speaking provinces and open fire.

• Create fixed fortifications from which to launch attacks, positioned within population centres of cities.

• Assume that the Russian Armed Forces would apply a Shock and Awe Strategy, to use President George W. Bush's term for the Iraq War II, meaning carpet bombing and killing most, or alternatively, everything that flies on anything that moves, that Vietnam War policy term attributed to White House occupants President Richard Nixon and Dr. Henry Kissinger. This was necessarily to lead to a heavy number of deaths of the Eastern pro-Russian, Russian speaking Ukrainians, historically Russian. Thus so consolidating further anti-Russian racist sentiment, promoted for over one hundred years in The West [dealt with in the prior essay].

• In turn the entire, disparate Ukrainian population would converge in popular outrage against Russia, creating a unified, anti-Russia Ukrainian block and enabling US-NATO-UK Planners to position major weapon systems on the border up to the western border of Russia.

• Have Europe reduce or cease imports of Russian resources and switch to US suppliers. Damage major European export markets by making their products more expensive, so favouring US exports.

• Generate disaffection within Russia for the Russian leadership, leading to its removal and replacement by pro-Western Yeltsin-like leaders chosen by the important Washington-London Thought Leaders to re-enable the pillaging of Russian resources and sovereign interests.

• It seems likely that US-NATO-UK Planners reckoned that the Russian War Machine would be largely dissipated within weeks.

• Enhance sanctions on Russia to accelerate these outcomes via a fall in the Russian standard of living and shortages of essentials.

• The Russian financial elite class would be on-board to protect their vast fortunes and settle for having sanctions on their operations removed.

• As the Russian Armed Forces collapsed, heavily armed and prepared NATO forces would invade.

On Strategy and Timing, important Washington people spent the prior year in European capitals to cement Their Plan - Collapse the Russian Armed Forces and Russian State via their loss of military supremacy in The Ukraine Proxy War plus economic and financial breakdown from sanctions. Intentions were clear. Refer direct statements from the European leadership and others, plus Mainstream Media. Target dates are not published but, say, before the European autumn. Include contingency planning for a Russian halt to energy flows to Europe, to be restarted once that compliant pro-Western Government is installed in Moscow, before the European winter. The opposite has occurred.

Europe’s social and economic collapse is underway as Western Mainstream Media now assert that sanctions were actually not intended to collapse the Russian State. This is an obvious lie to protect the Leadership Class responsible for this failed strategy. Falsely blame European Governments for not planning for energy shortfalls that are destroying their economies. The success of this artifact of media agit prop requires everyone to have exceedingly short memories. Far shorter than what was necessary to forget that Iraq did not have WMDs, actually known at that time.

Again does Washington hang their European allies out to dry. There will be no sympathetic treatment from the Russian Leadership who hold all the cards. They will insist that European Governments relieve themselves of subservience to Washington before energy flows are reestablished. Expect existing European Government leaderships to be replaced with those who emphasize domestic recovery over US Geo-Political Adventurism. This backs US Leadership into a corner. They will respond.

That it was thought The Russian War Machine would be unable to sustain major operations beyond a few weeks is an unusual conclusion. Defeating this major industrial economy with its essentially unlimited supply of mineral resources for its highly evolved armaments industry, in turn supporting an armed forces constructed to deal with near abroad threats seems absurd and points to major US-NATO-UK intelligence and planning failures. The absence of objective Russian specialists may be a principle reason. Perhaps arrogance. Other reasons are referenced below.

The Russian President issued instructions to spare Ukrainian citizens and thus the Russian Armed Forces conducted close in street fighting combat operations. This in turn meant that Russian Armed Forces personnel were killed and injured, leading to sympathy within Russia for their actions and within Eastern Ukrainian Russian speaking provinces. The West misjudged Vladimir Putin. It still does, while ascribing to one person everything that occurs with the Russian State, clearly absurd.

A fraction of the Russian Armed Forces were committed to The Ukraine, reversing the traditional mathematical relation of a three to one superiority with air cover. It appears the the AFU had the three to one numerical superiority [give or take] and came as the best trained NATO army in Europe. The methods and technology that Russia has brought to the battlefield has destroyed the AFU and by extension any claims NATO has for European security, always a cover for anti-Russian and now anti-Chinese aggression.

US-NATO-UK Planners are supplying inferior weapons to the AFU. Many AFU personnel are dying. The Kyiv Government continues to request US-NATO-UK direct military intervention against a supposedly debilitated Russian State. Western Governments allow privateers to travel to The Ukraine. They will not commit their own armed forces beyond training roles and now small groups operating complex gun systems. That this is true is evaded by Mainstream Media personalities and their prepared agit prop narratives.

The AFU was thoroughly trained and armed by the US-NATO-UK Planners, with over eight years of building the Ukrainian War Machine to take all of the Eastern Provinces all the way to the Russian border, wiping out any number of Eastern Ukrainian residences. This has failed. US-NATO-UK Planners have nothing of benefit in The Ukraine to show for this, not even a functioning brigade of experienced war fighters of their own. Of Russia, they have. The Russian Armed Forces show no indication of being in any particular hurry. Much of benefit accrues to Russia taking its time. This includes a larger number of US-NATO-UK armaments flowing back out of The Ukraine into the underground arms markets of Europe and North Africa, the acquisition by Russia of certain supplied Western armaments for their reverse engineering, both latter points vehemently resisted in Western Mainstream Media and the continuing decision errors by the Kyiv Government, such as it is, being staffed by overrated rank amateurs at most levels, some with backgrounds in entertainment. Indications of internal fracturing include the banning of all Ukrainian opposition political parties, arrests of private citizens, the overriding of military professionals and the shifting of state funds to foreign bank accounts. Admittedly this last point as a sign of decay is arguable as corrupt leaders always shift funds abroad with the intention of going abroad themselves.

President Zelenskyy comes with no education in military affairs, nor any direct battle experience, nor running a war against a foreign state. The Russian President does [have some of these]. This photo treats us as fools and is equivalent to a rank amateur studying a chess board, up against a chess grand master. The grand masters of real war? Russia and only Russia. Zelenskyy transitioned from B-grade entertainer to high-stakes gambler in an existential war of state survival, while knowing nothing of it. Reported to be surrounded by MI6 and CIA "protection" to prevent that unpredictable lurch sidewards [his drug addiction is known], an easy thing when you are under much stress whilst Western Mainstream Media compare you to Winston Churchill, further evidence that we are treated as fools. Zelenskyy will hope to slink out of town like an out of work Actor of whose present gig audiences lost interest. Problem. Some very important people are not happy with current outcomes, nor with him. The Banshees require sacrifice and somewhere out there is an empty body bag. Retiring to that sunny Mediterranean coastline off Tel Aviv to write his memoirs will not figure in their constellation of acceptable outcomes. At that moment, the AFU generals take over.

But not now. Not yet. Time constraints must be observed. Timing is critical. Timing is always critical. The credibility of important people in Western centres faces serious obstacles. For Kyiv, nothing much changes until after the US November Mid-Terms.

Western Mainstream Media must remain committed to credulously broadcast on thin evidence or none, as they have from the start of the Russian SMO, that the Russian Armed Forces are losing. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of The General Staff General Valery Gerasimov may not have read those broadcasts and so remain unaware that they ran out of men and materiel and lost their SMO many months ago, while they continue to defeat everything that The West directs at them.

This highlights a very strange paradox that no Mainstream Western expert is able to explain, short of lying.

Europe, the United States and the UK continue to bleed weapons and money and popular support while their own economies, societies and infrastructures decay and costs accelerate, as they now head into a deeper recession and the inevitable stagflation floods over their states. For the United States especially, there is crime. The US economy and civil society sinks. The European economies sink faster. Already under population pressures and social dislocations from Middle Eastern residents escaping the foreign sponsored wars, Ukrainians in a count approaching several million or more are escaping to Europe from that foreign imposed war.

Never, ever interrupt the enemy when they are making mistakes, as the French imperialist Napoleon Bonaparte observed. Or is this a Jesus Christ moment? "Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do". Luke 23:34. There will be no forgiveness. The break with Russia is not reversible. Russia has departed Europe - For Eurasia. Of The West? The second part of Jesus Christ's quote, while dying on The Cross applies - "And they divided up His raiments by casting lots". NATO will disintegrate, the European Union too, both magical mechanisms for Washington's control over Western Europe. Collapse of Imperial Rome, redux. Perhaps faster. What you get when the moneyed elite class runs everything. Collapse. Then as now.

To the extent that they believe their own propaganda, the Washington-London-Brussels' Elite Thought Leaders treat their foreign adventures as a moral cause, a war between good [themselves] and evil [whoever by their own calculus qualifies], boosted by domestic agents who face no consequences for outcomes. US sabre rattling in the South Asian Region should [but may not] turn into an empty gesture in light of the Ukrainian Proxy War progression, a clear failure to understand the true capabilities of the designated enemy Russia, the demands to be put on the sacrificed AFU, now obliterating under heavier Russian assaults, more generally the demands of modern warfare and an Exit Plan if things do not work out, as they have not. As for whether there was any real thought that the objective of defeating Russia and, by extension weakening China, was actually possible, rational analysis seemed to be outweighed by that ever tangible sense of moral superiority of the chosen that haunts the corridors of Western Elite Power.

Wars test the legitimacy of the governing elites within those states at war. It tests the resilience of their societies. The overarching question that Ukrainian service personnel are asking themselves - Why should I risk my life for someone like President Volodymyrr Zelenskyy and all his corrupt arrangements, that childish actor who comes with no state leadership credentials? It is to no credit of that part of the Western educated liberal class that they passively accept and view favourably a presidential leader with no legitimate experience. He does have the [paid] support of Madison Avenue public relations management.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reinforced a pledge that Washington and its allies will continue supplying military aid to Ukraine to help it repel Russia’s invasion “for as long as it takes.”

This missile from an earlier intercept in Italy. The underground market for arms did not start with the West’s Ukrainian Campaign. It got better.

Yard or Garage Sale opportunities abound with the lavish supply of ‘lethal aid’ from The Forces of Universal Good, US-NATO-UK Ukrainian Proxy War sponsors, with armaments reported as heading into the underground markets which can now guarantee that even the most discerning of buyers will not be turned away. Just bring money. Ignore those old Soviet-made Kalashnikov AK-47 rifles doing the rounds in the Afghan bazaars. We're dealing with Western state of the art, modern weapons with improved targeting and fire and forget electronics. This is the Law of Unintended Consequences - Blowback. Those smart urban terrorists - read smart urbane terrorists with electronics and software skills? - will reverse engineer the gear and learn how to upgrade it themselves, while removing reported complexities. Why go into a situation with just automatic weapons when you can now fire off shoulder launched missiles, as taught by your US-NATO-UK handlers? Much has been written on the potential for Blowback and need not be repeated. Has European law enforcement become more risky?

12.5% - The population of The West, give or take. Not the World Community, not the World Stage and not The Eyes of The World.

Of the leadership of that 12.5%, we have many media professional to assure us that the United States is on top and remains so. Of them we observe . . .

Humorous, superficially convincing and well targeted by their producers at their market segment, for example, the US north east coast generally pro-Democrat liberal educated class and those elsewhere so identifying. Coming with well scripted, well rehearsed narratives on how marvelously the presently-in-charge Democrat Administration is handling the important Affairs of State, in spite of the ever present dark threats still hanging over us all, either from the long out of office Donald Trump, somewhere at large, or the ever present Russians. Notable for ignoring the many alleged crimes of leading Democrats. The networks do convincing work on their class of true believers and so again does one accord credit where credit is due.

The Russians are, by the way, always coming yet never arrive.

The 87.5%, the so-called Global South will join The Great Eurasian Union and force an end to Western Financial Capitalism which withdraws into progressively bankrupting states.

Dr. Henry Kissinger recently remarked that Kyiv will have to give up territory. This, from the realm of the extremely apparent, attracted a heady response from the Western Mainstream Media.

Much is on the line here. The loss of dubious business interests by important people invested in The Ukraine, the loss of credibility in Washington-London strategic planning and military affairs circles and public recognition of actual outcomes. Russia has flagged running war crimes trials against important people in Washington, London and Brussels. Those Centres for the Promotion of Universal Goodness with nary a hint of self-interest.

In the 1960's, Pentagon plans to completely destroy Russia with a preemptive nuclear strike were already in place and that was the only option. The outcome was some ninety million Russians killed within hours. US ally states increased that number. Various US presidents continued to approve it. As Pentagon General Curtis LeMay remarked to a much younger Sam Cohen, Los Alamos nuclear weapons physicist and creator of the smaller enhanced radiation weapon the Neutron Bomb - "Sam, war is killing people. When you kill enough of them, the other guy quits." General Curtis LeMay is sometimes pitched as untypical of American generals. He stated how they think and how they act. Back then the effect and results of a Nuclear Winter were insufficiently appreciated. In the centres of planning, they still seem to be. In the limit though, The Generals run the show in that they exercise the option of veto.

Anti-Russian programming via television, at that time, makes such outcomes more acceptable as this class of foreigner is obviously evil and less than human. Programming for collective punishment via conditioning starting with children.

Curtis LeMay was instrumental in advancing Strategic Bombing and notably Firebombing Cities, a war crime and a high science. It just wasn't that easy to set a city on fire but it was done, where after the rivers boiled (Dresden, Hamburg and Tokyo) and people who hid in basements were found afterwards to resemble large, desiccated gingerbread biscuits, since basements no longer offered protection as they become ovens. The Tokyo firebombing killed more people than Hiroshima and so of a very well executed campaign does one again accord credit where credit is due.

Armed forces may commit mass murder, as has been the case in the historical record and to the present. For that reason was it thought that the Russian Armed Forces would take the same approach in the Eastern Ukrainian Provinces. They have executed a difficult campaign to spare the population. Thus, reintegration of that region and other parts of The Ukraine into the Russian sphere is assured. To what degree the Russian Armed Forces spared the civilian population out of humanitarian concerns or for the pragmatic tactical reasoning of winning over the hearts and minds will be one question left for historians and coffee lounge intellectuals.

French President Emmanuel Macron recently accused the Russian leader of launching a “brutal attack” on Ukraine in an imperialist, revanchist breaking of international law - European media. Just which international laws are relevant here were not cited and never are and the revanchist accusation, that is, the desire to take back territory in presumably NATO controlled Europe, remains unexamined.

If one was to examine it, one might find the assertion to be thin on substance. The standout reason that must be evaded at all times turns on the question - who would want them, Western European countries, that is? Their only benefit to Russia and it's a diminishing benefit is to act as customers for Russian resources. Russia can do without them. One might casually observe that Western Europe is experiencing worsening weather (heat stress, cold stress), declining ecological sustainability (rivers running dry, threat to nuclear generator cooling), loss of habitat (species extinction, plant and animal), declining workplace standards, is overrun by large numbers of foreign people displaced from Western Middle Eastern wars where they arrive having different values than that of the dominant society, plus a loss of fundamental Christian principles wherein important people are tripping over existential civilizational dilemmas of crisis proportions such as how to define a woman, a question no normal person has ever had any difficulty working out. Russia remains the opposite.

Incidentally, Washington wants Europe as customers for US produced energy, at the higher price that they offer, supplied from ships. That one they look like winning. As Washington loses in The Ukraine, it reverts to pillaging allies.

One simply cannot take direct military control of other countries, maintain such control and deal with the massive cost of doing so. That is, not simply. In terms frequently used by American geo-political luminaries, the heavy cost in blood and treasure, Afghanistan stands out as their most recent unexamined example, that being US-NATO-UK's military intervention supported by vassal states and a twenty year campaign of which in The West there is an effective news blackout.

As for the French President, he and those around him may safely rely on the fact that few know of French foreign adventurism, still underway and the number who died in Algeria's anti-colonial war before the French Armed Forces finally left, circa 1962. From other African countries they have not departed. Former French President Jacques Chirac observed, years ago, that France would not amount to much internationally without its African colonies - "Without Africa, France will slide down into the rank of a third world power.” Think Niger and uranium mining for French nuclear electric generators and nuclear weapons. Ditto for the London elites and their vast African interests.

Vlad Putin is not Adolph Hitler. More intelligent. Very disciplined. He did not allow Russia to be built up with American and British industrial and financial inputs, as did the German Nazi Government, with all the attendant consequences of London-Washington internal manipulations. The Russian President, like the US President, has to deal with the same influence groups - the Armed Forces, important political alignments, the Intelligence Agencies, Armaments Industry Leaders and privately owned media influence operations. Of the last, the French imperial ruler Napoleon understood this. He observed - “If I were to give liberty to the press, my power could not last three days.” A free press is never a free press.

Western European and British societies and economies are being ruined by the hand of their own leadership. In such circumstances does one blame some other foreign leader.

Western civilizational decline is irreversible and entirely due to elite interests. They risk everything to lose nothing and then lose everything. They risk taking us down with them.

On Methods of The Mad: The power in effective propaganda is the capacity to generate a different “reality", to reify the previously constructed official ideology in remaking thought and perception, via image, sound and print, projected by trusted people with confidence in style. Repetition is the critical method to cause target audiences, aka everyone, now to process the messages repeatedly, roll them over in their minds and avoid thinking outside the paradigms so presented, leading to new desired behaviours. One persistently misguided belief is that of self sacrifice, an act of turning in on oneself, an act of the powerless, as a means to change things beyond one's control that in reality remain unchanged. Unless that act of self sacrifice is extreme. Or would appear so.

No-one prepared to think critically could absolutely conclude that the action of this Buddhist monk, here Saigon, South Vietnam June, 1963, led to the overthrow via assassination of the South Vietnamese President by US interests five months later. Washington has its interests, as we are reminded. Buddhist monks in the region were known for this form of protest and when Vietnam was French IndoChina, French occupying forces also dealt with this. It is doubtful that this hastened the exit of French Armed Forces, considering the number of Vietnamese whom they killed there. What can make a difference is a strong, unified, highly trained, well equipped and mean spirited social movement, otherwise known as the armed forces.

One can dehumanize an enemy if they do not look or act like oneself. For Western war fighters, Middle Eastern wars are easier to run. Anti-Asian racist sentiment is also easy, similarly in regard to Africans, due to the greater anthropological distance in facial and anatomical features. This avenue of psychological manipulation exists because of what is not taught in schools, namely that there is only one human sub-species or human race. So, in the Middle East, North Africa and China, it is possible for an Anglo-American soldier to create distance from the people he was killing. On the border of Russia, in The Ukraine, this is not so. They come looking as Westerners. The hypothesis that countries that host McDonalds fast food outlets do not go to war was just that - a hypothesis. Without supporting evidence. Nominally made true as McDonalds withdrew from Russia. Others are happy to buy those abandoned assets.

In wars, men die as a matter of necessity. It's a machine. Just who survives is a matter of circumstance, of luck, of a long providential chain. An accidental Kill Chain of sorts where your number comes up. It is as impersonal as it is personal. You will be shot at, bombed, knifed, have a mine go off under you or a Jumping Jack rise one meter or so out of the ground to detonate at your waist height. Imagine the rest. It does not matter who is there. Whether it is you or another. You or the other may get killed or lose body parts. It's entirely impersonal. From the standpoint of those targeting you. But you take it personally. They do not care who it is and as soon as you're gone, they move to the next you.

At the line of contact, the physical war is a battle between opposing groups of largely working and lower working class, under-educated, overly indoctrinated young males who do not know each other and are not given to asking questions, nor challenging the authority figures influencing their minds. Factually, one cannot educate those not able to question what they are told, yet one can indoctrinate them. Thus they fight for the preservation of an Elite Class which understands them, whom they cannot understand and of which they can never aspire to join or may even be aware of. An Elite Class who will speak to their heroics and bestow upon them some gimcrack awards. Here, high grade stamped metal pieces with coloured cloth known as medals, accompanied by transcendent prose delivered by important people, sometimes as eulogies and who obtained their positions from inherited wealth and influential associations, virtually none of whom ever faced down the bullets. This makes "your side" your enemy.

Definition: The enemy is anyone who can get you killed. Few think of these things in these terms. On an historical note, certain of the elites valued direct battle experience as a mark of passage. Not now.

Of General Douglas Haig, described by Prime Minister Lloyd George as “utterly stupid”, known as the dunce of the family and who had the greatest difficulty in passing his Sandhurst Military College entrance exam, who was appointed Commander-in-Chief of the British Army, who ignored intelligence reports, who acted against the advice of his officers, he presided over some of the greatest battlefield losses of all time - on one futile day running out to some 57,000 soldiers killed [Somme offensive day one]. Ascribing such outcomes entirely to stupidity remains an insufficient explanation. Other factors include ambition, officer jealousy, personal leadership defects and the value attached to materiel over lives. It is notable that “those British generals who prolonged the slaughter kept their posts and won promotion” - A. J. P. Taylor, British War Historian.

With relevance to present London-Washington Thought Leadership, it is further noted that “Haig, with defeatist zeal always insisted that it must last for a long time. He believed in the inevitability of long fluctuating battles, of a process of wearing down the enemy by the relentless and merciless sacrifice of the lives of his men” - John Walters, British War Historian.

It remains a popularly promoted myth in Australia that British commanders, for domestic propaganda purposes and notably those Australian soldiers so assigned, were always respectful of the soldiers under their command.

Young working class men [mostly] are attracted to war because they know nothing about the enterprise of war, or know nothing worth knowing. Coming with an absence of any survival anxieties is a desirable trait. On the battlefield they are all old men as they are always moments away from the end of their lives. Any anxiety this might cause is dealt with by believing one can live forever and it's the other man who gets hurt. This is how young men think, most of them. They are half right. The other man does get killed. And so do you. Especially when your side is losing badly and your Leadership will not give up because they cannot without putting themselves at risk. They must remain committed to selling that glorious victory. You are urged to fight on. The moment of extreme danger for the Leadership is when everyone realizes that the war is lost and their armed forces have given up. Someone must answer for the ignominious defeat. The Kyiv Leadership faces this moment. The East German leader faced this moment with a popular uprising circa 1990. The Afghan president recently faced this moment 2021 [and escaped with hundred of millions of dollars and his life]. The Cuban leader faced this moment with Castro circa 1959 [and escaped with hundred of millions of dollars and his life].

As Westerners now function at a higher level of cognitive dissonance, it is expected that their armed forces personnel will themselves experience psychiatric events when dealing with "an enemy" that mirrors their appearances. White skinned, blue eyed, Christian Anglo. Not all are. Russian Armed Forces include the Chechen militia. Coming up against them for close-in suburban street fighting may well not leave foreign fighters with any sense of psychological dissonance on account that they are dead, coming as they do with a strong reputation - the Chechens that is. The dead remain the most trouble free. It makes no difference who wins the war to someone who's dead.

Chris Kyle of American Sniper fame was apparently psychopathic and dealt well with his war experiences. He survived the Iraq II Campaign to be shot to death with his back turned at a Texas shooting range by mentally disturbed Iraqi veteran E. R. Routh. This post-traumatic stress disordered [PTSD plus psychotic episodes] American veteran of the Iraq War was not allowed to plead PTSD and thus mentally insane at his murder trial. That's the catch. Battlefield experiences can drive one insane, that is, if you are normal. Military psychiatrists know this. If everyone knew this, there would be few recruits. Military psychiatrists also know this. Which is why this PTSD American veteran could not plead PTSD. Chris Kyle believed he could help psychologically disordered military veterans, on his own self-assessments. He came with no qualifications. The method he applied here to help E. R. Routh was to take him to a shooting range and hand him his own guns [Chris Kyle's]. Chris Kyle was incapable of evaluating a person who would be dangerous if in possession of guns. E. R. Routh got life without parole. In The Trade, known as sending a message. A superficially convincing narrative. Our duty is to serve those who serve themselves. The magical outcome of indoctrination. How manipulated they are. The enemy is whoever can get you killed.

The vicious Iraqi with the electric drill, depicted in the film American Sniper, does not occur in Chris Kyle's book.

On the question of placing American lives in harms way, that refrain we frequently hear from American political luminaries like Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barrack Obama, John Kerry, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Joe Biden . . .

"Suicide rates among the United States public have been increasing for the past twenty years, but among active military personnel and veterans of the post-9/11 wars, the suicide rate is even higher . . . This paper estimates 30,177 active duty personnel and veterans of the post 9/11 wars have died by suicide, significantly more than the 7,057 service members killed in post-9/11 war operations."

Not well known in Australia is the 500+ suicides of Afghanistan serving armed forces personnel, as reported but not widely.

A concept in common within the disciplines of Marketing, Economics and Finance is that of lead indicator - suggestive of things to come. Everyone looks for it.

In war, near the Line of Contact, you rapidly conclude that the probability of survival of just about everyone rapidly shrinks to zero. Few say this. A lead indicator.

Maybe you should have remained somewhere else.

Maybe you've been tricked.

Your enemy is anyone who can get you killed.

Check the checklist.

• One's favourite political, sometimes comic, media presenter's narrative? Could get you killed - indirectly. They do not face down the bullets. They happily entertain the troops. They happily get well paid.

• That sincere politician who does not face down the bullets? "Would you like to see your country lose, son?" One might reply - "Lose where exactly?" They appear near war zones in far off places wearing flack jackets for photo-shoots and look at risk They are never at risk.

• That mainstream media journalist pushing fearsome threats from afar to justify the already planned pre-emptive strike? Just why fearsome threats from afar come our way has been explained. "They hate us for our freedoms". Makes sense. George W. Bush as American president said it. Others of importance made similar remarks.

• The religious leader who tells you you're fighting not only for your country but God too. Just what is this god is who needs you to fight someone else and die remains unexplained? Those on the other side are told the same thing by their religious leaders.

Of the above class, all class masters in exempting their sons and daughters from military service. Of your sons and daughters, their fate is the luck of the draw. A crap shoot.

The English rock star Eric Burdon and his band performed their version of The House of The Rising Sun in 1964, possibly a song originally dedicated to a New Orleans Women's Prison. Many artists performed their versions, yet the most popularly played rendition on radio is Eric Burdon's [English speaking world] and it is played frequently.

Eric Burdon and his band recorded another song in 1967. That song is the impactful antiwar song Sky Pilot. It was not in the vein of the generally vapourous anti-war songs that pose imponderable questions and provide no answers, so remaining non-political, as if almost by design. Sky Pilot concerns the class of priests who service the armed forces. That song is never played. Here is a selection of the words. One could deconstruct the prose in highlighting the usual deceptions from this class, in their good service to the Elite Class. The entire rendition follows at the end . . .

For the foreigners here, many spoke to their foreign adventure as a Russian Safari. Their own governments, via their own military intelligence, would not disabuse them as to just how dangerous the Russian Armed Forces are.

Given that these essays address the larger clockwork gearing of geo-political events, a single event like the alleged attempted murder of a minor Russian political philosophical figure of whom much more is made of in The West than in Russia arguably does not qualify for examination.

This does not parallel the murder of Patrice Lamumba, prime minister of The Congo 1960 and an anti-colonialist who resisted exploitation of African resources by Britain, Belgium and the United States. His arranged murder has been admitted [up to a point] by the Belgium Government and was planned somewhere between London, Brussels and Washington professionals, with that murder executed by local amateurs who may have experienced that familiar touch of anxiety that can accompany those moments when one is required to kill someone, especially someone you know.

Aleksandr Dugin did not rate in Russian political affairs and almost certainly did not have any inside running within the Russian Government, as some asserted. Whereas much turned on the murder of Patrice Lamumba, of benefit to Western colonial interests, there seems to be no benefit here. Few in The West would know of Aleksandr Dugin, until now and would find what he wrote abstruse.

Was this a foreign intelligence maneuver, executed it appears by a Ukrainian national? It will solicit a response by that part of Russian Operations who deal with, in the language of that trade, the wet jobs. But against whom? Perhaps it actually was an intended strike against the daughter, for parochial domestic reasons.

For the record . . .

If Russian Intelligence Agency professional assassins, or any, are out to kill you, you die. Usually with no reporting of these events. Far more subtle. Nothing done in public like a car bomb. Nothing like the fake news of the undead Navalny, an obvious stooge for Western Interests nor the undead Scripals, of whom no-one would otherwise have heard of. Of the latter, that alleged poisoning was not backed by any biochemist in government employment at Britain's Porton Down biochemical weapons laboratory, leaving the then Prime Minister Theresa May to limit herself to speaking of an alleged poison known to be made in Russia.

One may well wonder why Porton Down scientists created VX military grade poison, manufactured as it was by Imperial Chemicals. VX is known to be made in England.

Of Western interests in The Congo, refer the previous essay and reference to one former British SAS officer and work colleague who contracted as a mercenary in The Congo and freely admitted, at least to me, to killing blacks and liking it.
